Sometimes you need a night that has absolutely nothing to do with being somebody’s mom.

No schedules. No snacks to pack. No one asking me where their shoes are. Just getting dressed up, eating good food, drinking cocktails, laughing way too hard and remembering the version of myself that existed before “mom” became the title I hear most.

I love being their mom more than anything.

But I also really love ✨her✨.

And I think I’m getting better at making sure she doesn’t disappear. 🤍

Lolinda never misses. This Argentine inspired steakhouse is tucked away in San Francisco’s Mission District. Their 18oz ribeye is hands down one of the best steaks in the city. It’s juicy and tender on the inside and the homemade chimichurri compliments the steak so well! (I always ask for extra) 🥩

I also ordered the gem salad. The freshness of the salad cuts the fat in between bites from the steak. The perfect compliment. 🥗

If you’re craving a memorable steak dinner in San Francisco, Lolinda continues to set the bar incredibly high.

One thing I’ve learned while traveling? Follow the locals. They always know where the good food is.

One of my close friends in San Francisco kept telling me that @lolindasf was one of her favorite restaurants in the city. Safe to say… she didn’t steer me wrong.

From the moment you walk through the entrance, the experience feels special. Beautiful space, warm hospitality, attentive service, and it all comes together for a memorable meal. It was the perfect place to spend my last night in San Francisco.

🍽️ What we feasted on:

🧀 Pan de Queso — warm, cheesy, and impossible to stop eating.

🐟 Ceviche — bright, refreshing, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. Paired with the corn fritter, best way to eat it

🥟 Empanadas — crispy, flaky, and packed with flavorful filling.

🦐 Shrimp Skewers with Potatoes — beautifully grilled shrimp paired with tender potatoes, simple but executed really well.

I love how Lolinda blends the feel of a Latin-inspired steakhouse with an inviting, energetic atmosphere. It’s polished without feeling overly formal, making it just as good for celebrations as it is for a night out with friends.

This was an amazing way to wrap up my San Francisco trip, and next time I’m back in the city, I’ll definitely be making another reservation.
