6 years ago, I got into running after being inspired by David Goggins.

A year later, I pushed myself to complete a 50 miler and paid the price.

A serious injury took me out of running and high impact activities for the next 5 years.

Last summer, I decided to lace up again to get out of a slump and reconnect with something I used to love.

Yesterday was my first ever 1 mile race.

And honestly, it was the most fun I had running in a while.

Grateful for my family and friends who showed up and supported me every step of the way 💙

Next up: Chinatown 5K in July.
Goal: sub 20.

And this time, I’m not just running for myself. I’m leading our run club to the finish line, inspiring more people to start running and take control of their health.
