“I love race weekend!!!!!” was the text I sent over and over again.

Showing up is my chosen love language. Those two to three moments, that only last 3 to 5 seconds, over the course of 13.1 or 26.2 miles, make it all worth it to know you CAN do this. Locking eyes, big ass smiles, and loud cheers are the pay off for weeks of training and you can always bet I’ll be there for it.

What a privilege it was to witness and cheer for my friends, loved ones, and run club crew who showed up for themselves on race weekend. So proud of all the runners who snagged the PRs, who never gave up in the tough moments, who reached for every high five, and who gave it all they got. You are what make this community so great🦋 ✨💙

Tonight was wonderful with the @secondsolecolumbus x @hoofheartedrunningclub x @asicsrunning Blue Jean Mile at @hoofheartedbrewing . This was a really fun event and I’ve never really ran in the woods (pretty much was trail through the woods). Also never ran in blue jeans which was really fun. Used the Superblasts and they were comfy as usual. Thanks to Taste of Colorado for the wonderful tacos. More photos of this run to come (I didn’t take any of me running). Remember Mental Health matters!

Tonight’s date night was exciting. Started with a Combustion 10K with @combustion_run_clintonville & @columbusrunning . Then went over to @hankstexasbbq after and got a very delicious Brisket fries and Mac n cheese. Very adventurous evening and not a bad way to start off Mothers Day weekend 🥰.
