Okonomiyaki Jiban-Ya just opened in U-District, serving up Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki layered with noodles, cabbage, egg, and all the good stuff

What we ordered:
🥓 Classic Pork Belly
🌶️ Mala Koji Shrimp
🧀 Scallop & Cheese

Also, don’t skip out on the sides — the corn and saba were so so good.

Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving Japanese comfort food in Seattle!

Thank you Boss and JP for having me as always :)

Lunch On The Plate is located inside Asian Family Market in Bellevue, serving up super comforting Taiwanese-style food with beef noodle soup starting at around $10!

I brought the friends who originally introduced me to their food truck, so it only felt right to come try their permanent spot together :)

Here’s what we tried:

- 2 Beef noodle soups w/ beef tendon, short rib, beef shank, and honeycomb tripe (we got thick and thin noodles)
- Two-protein bento w/ pork chop and spicy pepper chicken
- Two-protein bento w/ popcorn chicken and braised pork belly

Definitely worth checking out next time you’re in Bellevue

Thank you to Lunch On The Plate for inviting us in!

Went back to @ginger.scallion for another round of khao soi!

My friend @3uneq and I got the goat, oxtail, and seared duck—but truly you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Looking forward to coming back and seeing what they have stirring up in the kitchen!

And as always, thank you for having me:)

From Chicken & Rice to Bowls of Gold – Ginger & Scallion’s Khao Soi Has Arrived 🍜✨

There’s something special about Ginger & Scallion—it’s not just the food, but the warmth and hospitality that make it feel like home. We had the chance to try their new khao soi concept, featuring seared duck, oxtail, and an A5 Wagyu + white Italian truffle creation that was nothing short of exceptional. Excited for what’s to come! :)
