I love you Sonoran Desert and the rugged life that persists within you.
Tucked between this photo deck are several of my favorite examples including a Palo Verde tree with Desert Mistletoe parasitizing it, the notorious Saguaro cactus, a flowering Buckhorn Cholla, and the most adorable Strawberry Hedgehog Cactus.
These were found in the Northernmost “Sky Island” the Superstitious Mountain, the red sandstones of Sedona, and the great engraving of the Colorado Plateau by the Colorado River forming the Grand Canyon.
I got to meet these landmarks with my girlfriend, @mayalee___ , and her amazing family who so generously welcomed me in their car, home, and state showing me all of the best spots of San Tan valley and beyond.
The other bits are glimpses of a Winter term at OSU that can be summarized by 3 themes: Mr. (Dr.) White, Tennis, and Shawty Bae’s.

So so so excited for Spring

It’s time to drop the excuses and get out there, it can be scary, intimidating, you might feel like you don’t know where to start. But buy that cheap tent a sleeping bag and just go. You’ll learn what you do and don’t need as you do it again, and again. Find a friend to go with or do it alone. But you won’t regret unplugging and taking a step out there.
