Ra’Niya…I can’t help but to apologize for bringing you into this world when I didn’t have it all together. A fresh high school graduate, I walked the stage pregnant with you. I knew I had to keep going. Fighting everyday through morning sickness, fatigue and emotions. I was so naive to this world, and no understanding of what I would do as a mother. Today, you took the first step into adulthood, and Me being proud of you is an understatement. From your charm, to your humor, your amazing personality, brains and beauty. I couldn’t be more proud to be your mother. You never dropped the ball, never gave up, and always stuck to what you knew you had to do! God is so good and as I type this, the tears are falling. You have grown into everything I could have imagined, PLUS more. You have your whole life ahead of you and so much to offer to this world.
