In our quest to make RoadCone a 🚀 and bring it up to date with technology, I decided we need lasers!! I turned to Loop Research to help with this. I went with Loop Research LT210 – Laser Ride Height Sensor 0-40” with Track Temperature Sensor. With the tighter stator and turning this unit up where it has never been I figured it was a smart investment. This will help with keeping RoadCone’s nose down on the track where it belongs. Data is king and this will pair nicely with the FuelTech FT700. Huge wheelstands make good pictures, but are hard on parts! @dtp_truckwars last weekend! 🤘 Started raining literally right when I pulled the truck out of the trailer 🤣🤣 Luckily, it only lasted a few minutes. @snax_color_studio and I got it cleaned back up, then kicked back and enjoyed some killer food and an awesome show. Had a great time and already can’t wait for the next one!! 🔥

TX2K26! We made HISTORY! We may not have won this year but we definitely had a good outing! We reset the Import Radial record with White Rice! We already held the record with a 6.03! Now a 5.905 at 242.73 MPH! Also making us the first to run a 5 second pass at TX2K history. We also had a positive outing with White Rice Jr. we ran a PB of 7.7. Our first time at an event with it! We ran the street class and just got faster and faster. We will see 6’s soon! My guys are amazing. Nonstop hardwork and dedication! We didn’t get to get the 5 second pass at WCF due to the rain… but we brought it to Texas to TX2K to show out! Thank you Peter for having us. Texas Motorplex for the track. Sick for the prep! I’m so proud of the team! Eric Laferriere, Chris Delgado, Dave Aiwase, Mike Pabon, and Ulisses! And all our friends who come to the shop to help! Lights Out 17. It tested us, no way around it. It felt like failure but it was information. We will use that data and invest in more testing before the next race. Show up better every time. We made the decision to go all in, Jordan and Steve drove 45 hours to get to this race! We tested, adjusted, repaired parts, got rained delayed and then out in E1. Not what we planned for but I am so proud of Jordan for following his dreams, putting in so much time and sacrifices to get here. Continuing to get back up and get back after it. The Firebird is finished and heading back to finish final assembly. While it was here the @holleyperformance Dominator and chassis were freshly wired front to back along with all the remaining plumbing finished out with @phenixindustries hose and fittings. Some other highlights are the bulkhead connections for the engine and transmission harnesses from @mavenperformance to allow for easy servicing at the track, as well as the work lights in the engine bay and accent lighting for the burn down box and turbo inlets.
