This Friday 5/24 it is my distinct pleasure to bring The one and only “Woody Wood Jr.” Aka Chegg Almond to join me at Good Bar for a special night of celebration!

Hard to believe 5/24 marks 4 long years without our Crazy Pnut, Leguma Matata, Herschel P., Curdaffi, Turkish Curdz, Brooklyn Bad Boy Curdz, Punchable Paul Rudd, and of course Curdy Bunz and the Fantastic Flamejobs(to name a few of his characters)… but as he would want, we will celebrate him, make merry, tell his tales, and jam some badass tunes!

Speaking of, Woody and I have not played out together in just a bit longer, so this one is going to be super special. Not to mention The Bad Lieutenant just had a birthday last weekend… so we’ll carry it through! #curdybunz4eva #sometimesyoufeellikeanut 9p-2a

Hey friends. Just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for the beautiful birthday wishes yesterday. I spent the day sick on the couch so here’s a pic of me in my natural habitat, partying in Miami a couple of weeks ago. I’m very grateful for @partydad who looked after me and made my favorite Murada family Italian dish and got me ice cream cake.

The good news is I’m on the mend and we will be celebrating on Thursday night with a few other Capricorns, @francoisknyc, @becarefulkid, and @foosdj. François is going on early and has a special set planned, just for us. For those that don’t know François, the term legend definitely applies to him. He’s responsible for some of my favorite club and dub mixes and has worked with the likes of D-Train, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Moloko, Larry Levan, Diana Ross, the list goes on. Swipe over to read more about what Resident Advisor had to say about him a few years ago.

Needless to say, I am very, very excited for this one. @finnjones and I will be warming up and closing the party, with François on at 11. Our friends @spicy_boys_nyc and @loopdeloopgroup will be going b2b all night long in the Bad Room. Hope you can join me for a birthday boogie. Ticket link is in the bio 🎈

While we know some of you are still recovering from New Year’s Eve and some of you are doing Dry January, the party never stops at Love Games. We’re back at it this Thursday night with @francoisknyc, @spicy_boys_nyc and @loopdeloopgroup joining @lauren_murada and @finnjones and @goodroombk. The night is a special sea goat celebration celebrating the birthdays of Lauren, Francois, @becarefulkid, and @foosdj. Hope you can join us for a boogie. Tickets are in the bio 🪩🎷🐐

@francoisknyc has been an invaluable member of the NYC dance music community since the 1970s. Over the years François has DJed at legendary clubs like Paradise Garage, Studio 54, The Loft, Zanzibar, Vinyl, Twilo, and The Sound Factory Bar. His own parties Body & Soul and Deep Space became equally as legendary in the 90s and 2000s. He started his career in the studio mixing records for the pivotal disco label Prelude in the 70s and by the 80s he became one of the most in-demand remixers and producers. Over the years he's worked with artists like Larry Levan, The Cure, Diana Ross, Mick Jagger, the list goes on.

François K returns to Good Room this Thursday for @lovegamesnyc. Tickets via the link in bio 🔊

This Thursday I’m hanging out with all the goats 🎉🎉🎉 Capricorn Birthday extravaganza coming at ya this week @goodroombk’s super-duper-magical @lovegamesnyc party!!!! @finnjones & @lauren_murada are upping the joyous disco mayhem of their Love Games party w/ a collaborative birthday celebration like no other. Full-on family affair in effect: First there is the Voltron-inspired @spicy_boys_nyc + @loopdeloopgroup meeting in the bad room all night long—I am playing with two of my best buds, longtime night groovers (both celebrating birthdays) @foosdj & @becarefulkid. Then… In the main room is none other than NYC’s OG champion of the 12” discomix (and Capricorn) @francoisknyc. Love Games founders @finnjones & @lauren_murada (Capricorn) will set things off and warm up the main room so you better come early—top tunes all night long and lots to celebrate. All this Thursday at @goodroombk — HMU for list and come celebrate all these fantastic Capricorns.
