And that’s a wrap. THANK YOU to everyone for every word, every gift, every hug that’s come my way! To those who were able showed up from near and far, your presence (so many not pictured 🥹) meant the world to me, and I’m deeply grateful.

To my family and friends who made these two nights possible thank you. I love you beyond words.

A week later and my heart is still so full, and I’m excited to carry this love forward as I continue working to uplift and support our Black boys and girls in education not just here, but around the world.

I love you all so, so much!

Another @usapowerlifting competition for the books yesterday!🥳 I hit two new personal records (PR) at my lightest weight which shocked me. It’s crazy to know that as my weight has decreased, my strength only grew. I really love the lessons powerlifting has taught me. Today I learned the scale can only say so much. You’re consistent effort to move forward while putting in hard work will reward you eventually. I surprised myself today with a 22lb deadlift PR since my last PR two months ago. I’m grateful for this journey while being in my last year of grad school. A strong mind and strong body is the goal. There for sure is much more left in the tank so can’t wait to soar higher 📈😌

Thank you to my coach, my family, and friends who came out to support me, watched, and sent me encouraging words

My Bodyweight (BW): 141lbs
Squat: 253.5lbs
Bench:121.3lbs (+6lb PR)
286.6lbs (+22lb PR)

Deadlifted double my weight for the first time🥳🙈🕺🏽
