Now Kiss turned one and it made my heart dance and sing and feel immense joy 🥰 Thank you as always to the amazing community that makes this show so special, including the creatively magical man who lets me do this every month, David London(@lifedrawingboston). Also an especially big thank you to my friends who came to support me and hangout to play games afterwards. I appreciate you more than you know! Looking for an early start to gay halloween? 👀

Join us @loov_the THIS FRIDAY for Halloween Queer Figure Drawing!!! The two figure drawing divas of somerville @bostonfigurecenter ➕ @lifedrawingboston join houses for one epic night of queer community - We have drawing welcome to ALL levels (from hobbyists to picassos), some AMAZING vendors (@tsjhave, @julpointy, @martymartinage, @thebutteredtable, @francescanater) a free form community modeling structure (nudity optional, costumes encouraged), and an amazing performance from THEE hot spooky horror king of PVD - @buckthorn.drag ! So so happy to welcome him back for this night 🤩 make sure to bring some CASH 💰 so he can SLASH 🔪 your throat 🥰 in a consenting way ofc:

Buckthorn is an incubus drag king with a love for everything bloody and monstrous. Using his skills in costuming, acrobatics, and theatrics in the most grotesque ways possible, Buckthorn is always pulling out something to make your mouth water and your skin crawl.

I'm so glad to be collabing with @queerfiguredrawingboston - take a look at some of the drawings from our session in september! I can't wait to see some of the duo and trio poses we'll get at the event 🥰 Model slots will be 2, 5, and 10 mins long with sign ups starting right at 7pm! people NOT running on gay time you'll definitely be able to model. everyone else....good luck babe 💋

Getting excited for the 23rd! Although the majority of the event will be drawing time, we are so lucky to have gotten Buckthorn for a drag performance.

Aeris Carter @aeriscarter and Ian B @residentianvil as Claire and Chris Redfield from RESIDENT EVIL. @lifedrawingboston

it was great to see Aeris and Ian pose in their handmade costumes from the Resident Evil games, and learn just a little bit more about the lore.

I took some inspiration from a picture by Zach @zach.b.young as I drew that giant skull. As for the moon... it always had tentacles, right?

40 and 20 minutes, charcoal and white highlights on @strathmoreart grey toned paper.

REJOICE FOR SPOOKY SEASON!! 🎃 👻 🥀

You know as an Oct baby I love all things spooky...and no one does that better than the Victorians (except maybe the Ancient Egyptians, well put a pin in that) so I'm suuuuper excited to have one of our most nichely knowledgeable HPN models (& author/researcher/salem local/tour guide/historic interpreter/PARANORMAL INVESTIGATOR) yet: @ghostsbooksandcats !! I was giddy when she told me about her background in this, and I can't wait for her to share her wealth of knowledge with you all!!! She's also so funny and clever, it is going to be an awesome night!

Also..... this is on MY BIRTHDAYYY 🎂 🎈 SO YOU BETTER COME!!! If you haven't gotten to one yet, this is the one I wanna see you at. Wear something spooky, bring a lil treat (if you love me), come thinking about your dearly departed ancestors, and get ready to learn some awesome spooky history 🖤

(Also get ready for us to talk a lot of shit about the W@rren M*seum.....)

This Historic Portrait Night is happening at @lifedrawingboston 72 Joy St Somerville, 6:30-9:30, right off the east somerville green line stop!
