Lorelei is one of those incredible people we all want to be around!!! Just like many of us our annual freediving camp was a big part of Lorelei's journey. She bought so much life and laughter and we cannot wait to continue to watch her absolutely slay 💙

“Kia ora everyone, my name is Lorelei, I grew up in the South Island and started diving when I was younger around Kaikōura and the Marlborough Sounds with family and friends. When I moved up to Northland I decided to join the famous Kai Iwi Lakes SALT trip. Everyone was super supportive and lovely, and having arrived on the camp knowing nobody, I then met the best people who have now become good friends, and people that I’ve been able to share some epic diving experiences with. I continued on to do my instructors course and have loved introducing new people to freediving, sharing the hype, and allowing people to realise what they are capable of and the new experiences they can have. Super excited to be in the water with you all on the upcoming trip❤️ Shout out to Renee who has created this amazing space”

Seen a few kingfish landed of late, without the hassles of the taxman!

With the kingfish in good condition, and the water still a chilly 14.5deg, not to many sharks seen. Or maybe that’s cause of the bad vis 🤔
