"Love never blows up and gets killed"

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last Saturday we finished up year 12 of the Little Ski Hill’s summer skateboard comps. What started out as the McCall Skatedown evolved into the AC/VC Skatedown (Adam’s County/Valley County). This came after the addition of the new Mehen Memorial Skatepark in New Meadows. Huge shout out to both the city of McCall and the city of New Meadows for letting us use these amazing facilities, to all the volunteers that have put in tons of hours over the years, to our sponsors, and to everyone that has shown up to skate, spectate, and share our love of skateboarding and community. An edit I put together a couple summers ago. Shooting this was pretty sick. It gave me some perspective on how tough and dangerous this job can be. Mad respect to the Bogus lift maintenance crew.

Last Saturday was a pretty special day for a lot of people. We got to cruise up and check out the opening of the @nmskateparkproject Mehen Memorial Skatepark opening and 2nd round of the AC/VC SKATEDOWN in New Meadows. Pretty quick in and out on an ole “snap some pics and ditch” program, but not without taking in such a beautiful scene of community leaders, skaters, families, bands and friends from all generations enjoying the spoils of the hard work that has gone into this project. Big thanks to @wooprest @littleskihill @grindlineskateparks and countless others! If you know em tag em and let em know we appreciate them! Here’s to Rory and Sara and all the smiles they brought to peoples lives and the eternal fun they provide through this new park ❤️🤍🔮 You rule.
