INTRA (the space between) è il nostro primo lavoro come collettivo. 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙑𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚. 𝘼𝙘𝙩 𝙄𝙄𝙄. 𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 The final act addressed institutionalized violence as an embodied and normalized practice. In an endless loop, the Catholic prayer movement of „amen” merged into a sequence of aiming and firing a gun. This hybrid gesture served as a metaphor for how systems of authority inscribe destructive patterns into individual bodies, transforming people into instruments and perpetrators of sanctioned force. The act questioned how ideology operates through ritual, obedience and repetition, and how coercion becomes internalized as moral or divine order. Performers lo bil, Chiara Guillet and Katya Petetskaya intervened by resisting the gesture, introducing care as a response to fear - the engine driving the fatal force. Care as political resistance and an invitation to connection that holds the possibility of breaking the loop. Taken together, the three acts examined violence as a condition enacted through individual bodies, relations and systems. By exposing how systemic, interpersonal and internalized forms of violence intersect, the performance proposed agency as a possibility : the capacity to interrupt what is conditioned, resist fear-driven responses and consciously choose care over violence, love over fear. ‘Exercises in Violence and Care’ unfolded within a shared performance environment alongside other live actions. CONSTELLATIONS OF CRITICAL BODIES II, Venice International Performance Art Week en C32 Performing Arts Space, Forte Marghera, Venezia, Italia. @veniceperformanceartweek 🥹❤️‍🔥 Summer Class 2026. ¡Grazie mille! 🥹 @vestandpage, @jmschofield , @marianna.andrigo , Aldo & @s_a_r_a_s_i_m_e_o_n_i , les llevo en el corazón. 🇲🇽 #performanceart #performance #performer #veniceinternationalperformanceartweek Performance art about Von willebrand

𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙑𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚. 𝘼𝙘𝙩 𝙄𝙄. 𝙄𝙣 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙘𝙮 Co-created with Maria Isidora Vincentelli with an intervention by Anaïs Kedikian, the second act introduced intimacy as a site where violence and care coexist. Performers engaged in a physical push-and-pull dynamic that unfolded through sustained proximity and withdrawal. Intimacy as a field of tension. Intimacy as a place in which what is most tender and what is most dangerous reveal themselves at the same time. Risk is inscribed within the very structure of intimacy itself. The very act of moving close to another person, opening oneself, being seen, touched and recognized, already contains the possibility of being wounded. Intimacy is not exclusively a space of tenderness, safety and comfort, but also a site of exposure. It is precisely in closeness that we become most vulnerable to rejection, loss of control, dependency, fear of abandonment, obsession or violence. The greater the proximity, the greater the possibility of violation. Intimacy is a structure in which deeper social and psychic mechanisms become visible: attachment, fear, patterns of domination, the desire for fusion, the need for control. What unfolds between people is never merely private - it also carries traces of systemic, cultural, familial and emotional conditioning. What do we do with this risk? ‘Exercises in Violence and Care’ unfolded within a shared performance environment alongside other live actions. Structured in three acts, the work examined different manifestations of violence: systemic, interpersonal and internalized, as they are embodied, transmitted and enacted through corporeal experience. Woven at Hirbawi, the last remaining factory in Palestine producing traditional keffiyeh scarves, founded in 1961 in Hebron. Woven presences. Operating quietly in the background yet in symmetry with concurrent actions addressing narratives of remembrance and liberation. Presence as an active practice. Art’s responsibility to confront its moment. ‘Exercises in Violence and Care’ unfolded within a shared performance environment alongside other live actions.
