A little slice of Italy is coming to Montgomery County! 🇮🇹

For more than a century, Italian American families have helped shape our communities, from the neighborhoods and churches they built to the businesses, restaurants and traditions that remain part of our local story today.

As we get ready for the City of Amsterdam Tourism Marketing & Recreation ItaliaFest this Saturday, take a look at this “Little Slice of Italy” video celebrating the rich Italian heritage that continues to be part of Montgomery County.

Make sure to Visit Montgomery County NY at 54 Bridge Street, Amsterdam, during Italiafest for FREE kids’ crafts, our Italian restaurant guide, visitor information and more!

See you then! 🇮🇹

🍕 Last stop of the night at Lorenzo’s Southside in Amsterdam — besides the chicken Parmesan my go-to is prosciutto and arugula pizza straight from the wood-fired oven, with homemade wine from my good friend Joe Lanzi. Can’t beat that! 🍷🇮🇹

Lorenzo's Southside in Amsterdam is officially turning up the heat, and we got a first peek 🔥

Lorenzo's has been doing it right for years—a 4th generation, family-run spot built on authentic Italian recipes, homemade pastas, and true Neapolitan-style pizza traditions.

And now… they just leveled up.

The new Pavesi wood-burning oven is bringing higher heat, better crust, and that perfect wood-fired char—taking a pizza that was already top-tier to a whole different level.

Same roots. Same recipes. Just turned all the way up 🔥🍕 Trust us… you’re gonna taste the difference.

Here at the BEST & the WORST restaurants I’ve eaten at since starting this page in August of 2025.

2025 has been a crazy year! I’m beyond grateful to have built a following of over 15,000 people in the last four months. Thank you for allowing me to do something I love everyday & continuing to support, watch and engage. This wouldn’t be possible without YOU!

HUGE shoutout to my top restaurants for making a space others and myself can come and enjoy great food in amazing atmospheres. It’s places like yours that keep this industry going. 🙏🏻
