Over 6,000 frames shot at @kybourbonfest so it'll take me to sort through them so for now enjoy this photo of the bottles I came back with. As always, Kentucky Bourbon Festival was a great time full of great friends, great conversations, and great pours. Now it's time to get a few more minutes of sleep this week. #kybourbonfest #kbf2026

I know what you’re thinking… but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. This might be the best thing I have had from @angelsenvy and the amburana aspect of it is not overpowering whatsoever. Also… pro tip: this pairs VERY well with chocolate and/or ice cream. You’re welcome 😉 Please remember to drink responsibly #bourbon #whiskey #bourbongram #whiskeyweather #kentucky

Angel’s Envy Distillery Series 2026 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Stout & Amburana Barrels 100 Proof SRP: $54.99 / 375 mL Please enjoy my Angel’s Envy Stout & Amburana Finished Bourbon Review! Please see the carousel slides for background info, details and my tasting notes. —A Surprisingly Subtle Amburana Finish— If I didn’t know Angel’s Envy Stout & Amburana Finished Bourbon included an Amburana finish, I really doubt that I would guess it. Generally, that is not the case. I can usually pick out an Amburana finish from across the room, but not here. I really only notice it in the finish, and even then, it is quite subtle. That’s not surprising, since the Amburana-finished whiskey makes up only 1% of the blend; it’s basically like adding just a pinch of salt. —Tootsie Roll Flavors Instead of Milk Chocolate— The Tootsie Roll flavors that I get throughout Angel’s Envy Stout & Amburana Finished Bourbon also surprise me. I have had a number of stout barrel-finished bourbons, and while I do tend to get chocolate notes, they are generally more of a milk chocolate character. —A Different Kind of Stout and Amburana Finished Bourbon— If you have tried Amburana- and/or stout barrel-finished bourbons before, I think you will be surprised by this one. I know that I was, and quite pleasantly, too! Had it been anyone other than Owen Martin behind this whiskey, I would have had my doubts, but Owen’s finishes tend to be much more well-balanced than most. Whether you have enjoyed these particular finishes in the past or not, Angel’s Envy Stout & Amburana Finished Bourbon is different enough—in a good way—that it is worth a try. Have you tried Angel’s Envy Stout & Amburana Finished Bourbon? What did you think? Cheers!🥃 Note: This sample was graciously provided by the Brand for my review. I appreciate it! #angelsenvy #bourbon #amburana #bourbonobsessed #bourbonreview Angel’s Envy Stout & Amburana Finished Bourbon Review - 2026 Distillery Series

Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Bourbon 2026 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Ruby Port Wine Barrels 117.8 Proof SRP: $249.99 Please enjoy my Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Bourbon 2026 Review! -See the carousel slides for the whiskey background details and tasting notes- -Rich Fruit and Port Notes with Balanced Sweetness and Citrus- The nose of Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Bourbon 2026 is mildly sweet with caramel and honey as well as plenty of fruit including cherries, with dark plums in the background and tangerines as well. I get intermittent hints of raisins and milk chocolate, but when I concentrate on them too much, they seem to disappear. The palate is a mix of tangy tart cherries with tart orange peel and mildly sweet caramel. Later on, there are black cherries and port notes as well. After a few sips, I also notice a touch of a “dusty” character. Hints of sweet cherry candy continue into the finish, but there is increasing tart orange citrus and black pepper which build to a moderate degree and last until the end. There is also a mild coating of sweet caramel layering on my tongue. The finish is fairly long with a pleasant warmth, leaving mild char, lingering port notes, and a touch of dry wood on the back of my tongue and throat. -A Complex & Enjoyable Port Finished Bourbon- Overall, Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Bourbon 2026 is a complex bourbon with ample and varied fruit notes, including stone fruits, presumably largely provided by the port casks. The fruit notes combine nicely with honey, caramel, and mild barrel notes contributed by the mature bourbons. The change in character to a fairly spicy and tart finish brings a nice touch to a very enjoyable pour. While the port finish is not at all overbearing, the flavors are definitely there, as would be expected after 3+ years of finishing time. If you are a fan of the notes that port casks can add to a well aged bourbon, then you will likely want to give this bourbon a try! Have you tried the Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Bourbon 2026? What did you think? Cheers!🥃 Note: This sample was graciously provided by the Brand for my review. I appreciate it! Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Bourbon 2026 Review

Angel’s Envy 10 Cask Strength Rye Straight Rye Whiskey Finished in Caribbean Rum Barrels 2026 Limited Release 111.6 Proof SRP: $269.99 Please enjoy my 2026 Angel’s Envy 10 Cask Strength Rye Review! [See the carousel slides for background, details and tasting notes.] The nose of 2026 Angel’s Envy 10 Cask Strength Rye has a nice mix of flavors one would expect from a rye, such as cloves, limes, wintergreen and subtle anise. However, there are also hints of butter rum lifesavers, as well as fleeting burnt caramel in the background. The palate is mildly sweet at first with sweet caramel, but gradually turns to rye spices, limes and growing black pepper. Yet, the buttered rum remains in the background as well. The finish turns fairly dry, with noticeable black pepper spice and tart citrus. In addition, hints of rye bread come and go later on. The finish is fairly long, with lingering citrus, spice and a touch of dry wood and char. Rye lovers will find the flavors that they expect in a rye, however, they are tempered somewhat by the whiskey’s mature age and the rum finishing barrels. The barrels add a pleasant, but subtle, hot buttered rum background throughout the sip, and the mature age mellows the rye’s flavors. Therefore, those who are not necessarily fans of rye whiskey or are new to the style would likely enjoy this release. However, for newcomers, the spiciness in the finish and the warmth imparted by the 111.6 proof might be a bit much for some. To mellow it out, they might opt for a splash of water or a cube. If you are a fan of rye, but are looking for something more complex without the “in your face” spice of a classic Indiana rye, then you will likely want to give the 2026 Angel’s Envy 10 Cask Strength Rye a try. As for me, I was a big fan of Angel’s Envy’s first Cask Strength Rye release back in 2023, and I enjoy this one very much, as well. I have often felt that sweeter finishing barrels, such as rum, pair best with rye, and that certainly holds true here. Have you tried the 2026 Angel’s Envy 10 Cask Strength Rye? What did you think? Cheers!🥃 Note: This sample was graciously provided by the Brand for my review. I appreciate it! Angel’s Envy 10 Cask Strength Rye 2026 Review

I still remember the first time I discovered Angel’s Envy. It was a dinner party and my friend pulled the iconic bottle off her shelf. The shape and design really stood out amongst the rest. The cask strength editions take it up a notch, loved exploring through all the details they took to really make it a luxury package. And yes, the liquid inside is great too. Thanks @angelsenvy for sending these for me to check out.
