Got to hang out with @durandbernarr last Tuesday. He did his thing per usual!

Over the weekend I had the absolute honor of receiving the inaugural “Alumni of the year” award from my Alma mater @renaissancehslb for continued excellence in the arts! ✨🏆

Before going to RHSA, I was in a bad place- expelled from another prestigious arts school (yes that one) failing all my classes, in trouble with the law and just down a horrible path, then my sister and savior @keturdle pulled me out of the ashes and brought me to RHSA where my mentors and peers ignited my flame and like the Phoenix (the mascot) I rose from the ashes and I have fully risen and am living that 18 year old girls dream every single day.

To be loved and cared for from a school 20 years after you went there is unheard of, Renaissance wasn’t just a school for me- it was the launching pad of my career and I will continue to give back to the school that has and continues to give back to me. Special thanks to @mariadowellhill and @rhsaparts for this absolute honor, I felt so at home and loved. and to my mentors @susanthrasher @lorigrace2153 and the late and great Robert Browning, I couldn’t have gotten where I am without your guidance and support. And to my best friend of 20 years @jessicadellrae I’m thankful everyday our little school created an unbreakable sisterhood.

And to all my fellow RHSA alumni, I love you, I root for you, and I’m so thankful for our fabulous and talented little school!!! We all win when once of us wins!!

And to the future of RHSA- NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS✨🌈🎭

this is me in 2017 at a concert i put together to fundraise for a large charity project i was also putting together lol i look so different and had a lot more energy at the time.
