After reading the synopsis for The Guest Cottage, book 1 in the Firefly Summer series, some background information questions I had about a few plot points were answered. So while I do believe this series is ok to read out of order I think if I had read the first book this one would have been that much more enjoyable. If you enjoy stories about hot ex-military men, small town love, lake cottage settings, and big men prioritizing babies, then grab this one today.
