Released on July 29, 2016, today marks the 10th anniversary of “Block Wars”, the second studio soundtrack from West Coast rapper The Game (@losangelesconfidential) 🎮
Released on Blood Money Entertainment/eOne Music, “Block Wars” was the follow-up to the 2016 “Streets Of Compton” soundtrack. Having released “The Documentary 2” and “The Documentary 2.5” in 2015, The Game went on to announce the release of his mobile game titled “Block Wars” with Atari (@atari) in 2016. Despite the mobile game never being released, the soundtrack of the same name was recorded by The Game to be featured in the app as well as to be released on its own. Executive produced by The Game, Cash “Wack100” Jones (@_the100show), and Stat Quo (@theonlystatquo), the “Block Wars” soundtrack landed at number 22 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Production on the soundtrack was handled by Bongo (@bongobytheway), Jelly Roll (@jellyrollville), Sap (@therealsap), and GoodGuyDez. Guest features include Lorine Chia (@lorinechia) 🎮
Later that same year, The Game returned with his eighth studio album “1992”. His most recent full-length project titled “Gangsta Grillz: E.M.N.T - The Credits” was released in 2026 🎮

My solo date got a little crash today 😂 but I had to run it back to Court Cafe for one of my favorite soul food brunches in LA.

Catfish tacos for me, chicken and sweet potato waffles with a mimosa flight for her, and I kept it cute with a strawberry pineapple lemonade since I was driving.

Comforting, flavorful, and always a solid go-to. Worth it ✔️

A little private wind down moment at the ecstatic dance in the jungle of miami a few days ago — thank you @ecstatic_flow for the #ecstaticdance opportunities and #community here and to @jenergy_flow108 for creating this all as always @1000palmshideout this time around w/ #music and #movement by @ashtara.kukuk and this lovely song by @lorinechia #youreastar /// I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to be in spaces like this around the world — and here in south florida. It is always good to move my body and be around humans who are able to express themselvesfreely… even on a day like this where my energy was lower, I was still able to immerse myself in this beautiful natural setting — communing with nature while moving my body under the beautiful big tropical leaves. It was so nice to do a little bit of yoga and contact improv as well before this wonderful sacred dance ceremony.
