Thank y’all for this season.🤍 Being able to have the opportunity to be a part of this family has been one of the best experiences of my life. This team gave me a sense of belonging and comfort, making Navarro truly feel like a second home. I’m grateful for all my friends supporting me on and off the court, and believing in me more than I can believe in myself. I would like to thank the coaches for their unfailing commitment and willingness to help us grow and become better not only as players but also as people. I LOVE YALL❤️ #godawgs🐾

Just like that, my time as a Bulldog has come to a close. These past eighteen months have flown by in the blink of an eye, but they’ve been some of the most memorable and impactful moments of my life. I’ve grown so much as both a player and a person, learning lessons that go far beyond the court. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of making lifelong friends who have become like family to me. I’ll be forever grateful to God for guiding my journey, to my parents for their unwavering love and support, and to Navarro College for giving me this incredible opportunity. A heartfelt thank you goes to Coach Ariel and Coach Dylan, whose belief in me and dedication made my dream of playing college volleyball a reality. This chapter may be closing, but the memories, friendships, and lessons will stay with me forever. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!🐶❤️

The 2024 season comes to an end. End of this season is bittersweet, but the memories, friendships, and lessons will stay with me forever. To my teammates, thank you for becoming my second family. And a big thank you to Coach Dylan, Coach Pam, and Coach Lorin for believing in me more than I believe in myself, pushing me, and teaching me lessons that go far beyond the court. Your guidance has meant the world. Big shoutout to my family for supporting me through the rough times and for showing me the light in the darkness. & just like that, we celebrate one year of marriage 🤍 This past year has been abundantly more than I could have ever hoped or imagined. @scottoberst, I love you more each and every day. It's hard to put into words how deep my feelings are about this group. Dylan and I would always have conversations about "dream jobs," and coaching at Navarro College was always at the very top of his list. Some people call it fate, some call it destiny, others, like myself, simply say it was "meant to be". God's plan. In a matter of days, early this year, there he was, living his dream to lead this already successful program. A program and staff that not only welcomed Dylan as their head coach but also me, as one of his assistants with open arms, and that got us to really understand #bulldogpride from the get go. Achieving success wasn't easy. Sometimes Isa and I would go days at a time without seeing Dylan when he was traveling for tournaments, he would get home when we were already asleep, and sometimes he was gone before we were even up. Countless hours scouting opponents, preparing practices, being the support system of a group of girls, many sleepless nights. Then there was the challenge to earn the trust of a group of returning sophomores and brand new freshman athletes, having them understand the vision and buy into the culture that's being built and contribute by giving their all on the court. We battled through struggles together, we battled through injuries together, and also the challenge of integrating 9 different cultures and getting them to work together towards a common goal. And they did it. Hard to not feel an overwhelming sense of pride for everything they have built and how far they have come. God gave me 16 new "kids" that I deeply care for, and regardless of what path God has for each one of yall's future, I'm so thankful that Dylan and I got to be a part of at least a little bit of it. ❤️ We hope that the lessons of resilience, teamwork, and family follow every single one of you wherever you go. May the next 2 weeks that we get to spend together be truly unforgettable because we are not done yet. 10/31/2024 I never expected this day to come so quickly, but as I’m about to step onto our home court for the last time, I want to take a moment to reflect on all the incredible experiences I’ve had here. I’m forever grateful to everyone who supported us during my two seasons at Navarro. The feeling of stepping onto that court, hearing the band, and seeing our fans ready to cheer us on is something I will cherish forever. Your presence made this journey unforgettable! A special thank you to my family for creating this opportunity for me, and to my teammates and coaches for making these years so memorable.
