Fall Gatherings With My Girls - Part 1 🍂🤎

One thing I’m trying to be more intentional about is creating experiences and memories with my adult kids. For my girls, I came up with some fun ideas and fall gives me the perfect excuse to execute them. 🍂

For our first Gathering, we tried the viral paracord bag charms, and they turned out SO cute! We pulled out all the beads, letters and pretty fall colored paracords and spent the night creating, laughing and talking around the table. 🤎✨

We were having so much fun that I completely forgot to capture photos and videos of each of my girls making theirs. 😂 But honestly, that might be a sign of a really good night.

And if you listen until the very end of the reel, you’ll hear one of my favorite sounds from these gatherings…the girls just chattering around the table. 🥹🤎

This particular conversation happened to be about our youngest son posting a family picture on his Instagram…not realizing it was taken when our oldest son and his wife had surprised us by putting a “BIG BROTHER” shirt on our grandson - before they had officially announced their pregnancy! 😳😂😂

Soooo…hopefully no one noticed that little detail! 🤫😂

The crafts are fun, but this is really why I do these nights. The laughing, the talking, the stories, the time together and the memories we’re making along the way. 🤎

I did quickly put one together on my own so you could see how fun and easy these are to make.

I already can’t wait for the next one!🍂🤎

When your friend comes to visit, you craft. 🦇✨

I love when my friend Lori @loris.place comes to town! This time she brought with her the cutest little Halloween vase craft idea, so of course we had to make them together.

A glass vase, a few bat stickers, some paint and fairy lights were all it took. We peeled off the bats after painting to reveal the little silhouettes, then I filled mine with these gorgeous rust colored hydrangeas. I love how it turned out…festive enough for Halloween, but still pretty enough to blend right in with my fall decor. Who says Halloween decor can’t be bougie?

Sometimes the simplest crafts are the best…especially when you get to make them with a friend. 🤎

Would you try this in gold or black? 🦇

Out of 48 Halloweens, I’ve been a witch for approximately… 47 of them. At this point it’s less of a costume and more of a personality trait. 😂🧹

Cute witch. Glam witch. Spooky witch. Budget witch. Doesn’t matter—I love them all.

So naturally, I have a soft spot for witchy Halloween decor. These three look like they’re on their way to stir up trouble, spill the tea, and maybe hex someone who started decorating for Christmas before Halloween. 😉🖤

I absolutely adore them. Which one would you invite to your Halloween party? 🎃

Thanks to our cute friend Lori for displaying them so cute one her Halloween mantle!! @loris.place
