I CANNOT WAIT FOR TWISTERS!! REVIEW COMING LATER…in the meantime here are some great “natural disaster films I recommend.

I remember seeing twisters in the movie theater with my dad and it immediately became something we bonded over and still bond over to the stay. Whenever we talk, we at least get a few “twister” references in there. RIP Bill Paxton!

***NEW REVIEW***

LONGLEGS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely thrilled after watching “Longlegs”! 🎬 Osgood Perkins delivers a masterclass in horror, blending psychological and supernatural elements that leave you on the edge of your seat. Nicolas Cage’s performance as the chilling serial killer is nothing short of mesmerizing, bringing a terrifying and diabolical energy to the screen.

Maika Monroe shines as FBI Agent Lee Harker, navigating a labyrinth of occult mysteries with a mix of vulnerability and determination. The film’s atmosphere is drenched in anxiety and dread, making every scene pulse with tension.

From its unsettling soundscapes to its meticulously crafted visuals, “Longlegs” is an eerie and captivating experience that horror fans should not miss. This is Perkins’ most fully realized film to date, cementing his place among the modern masters of horror. Highly recommend catching this one! 🕷️🔍💀

“A QUIET PLACE-DAY ONE” REVIEW
⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

Day One is a great stand-alone film from director Michael Sarnoski. He is one of my new favorites. His last film was “PIG” with Nicolas Cage. Sarnoski definitely brought his own unique style to the trilogy that made it stand out boldly on a much grander scale. I loved this movie. You have fantastic acting from the likes of up-and-coming Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn and Oscar winner Lupita Nyongo. Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou play equally small roles but get the most out of their screen time as well. If you enjoyed the first two, there’s really no reason you won’t AT LEAST find this installment entertaining. See it in IMAX or DOLBY preferably if you can.

*THE BIKERIDERS* REVIEW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

PLEASE LIKE ❤️ follow and share 📽️👊🏻

Jeff Nichols, as a director, has the ability to bring audiences a sense of nostalgia no-matter what time period, plot, actors, etc. It’s quite a trick. In his other films, there is the same heart and soul being captured on camera. Nichols gritty realism style only adds to the authenticity you naturally feel throughout his films. Much like Scorsese actually. For instance, in Goodfellas, Scorsese is able to make the viewer feel like they were a part of that time period. That we actually were friends and knew those people.

As far as the acting goes, @jodiemcomer is so damn good. Her quirky, charming, and Chicago native cadence/accent is much of the films brevity between biker violence and a shitload of other debauchery. After years of seeing such a talent as @tomhardy being a CGI marvel cartoon, this was the pallet cleanse much needed. Marlon Brando would be proud. He also brought a ton of humor to the role which worked nicely juxtaposed with his anarchist behavior and violence. Austin Butler was the only character that fell a little short for me surprisingly. He wasn’t given much dialogue, but what he did with it was great and his natural ability to say a million things without saying anything also helps. He’s a tremendous actor, just wanted a bit more story for him. I highly recommend this film and please check out his other movies:

This morning my daughter wanted to listen to Valentines music. “As long as you love me” by Justin Bieber w/Big Sean remix came on and I heard this: “the grass ain’t always greener on the other side; it’s green where you water it…” 💦 🌱

It reminds me of how easy it is to forget this and just want to give up. I’ve put a lot of work into my modeling career, myself, and my family but there’s always room for improvement. So I chose to improve the grass I stand on by watering it and avoid being disillusioned about what life could be. Because everything takes effort and a little TLC for it to evolve into something beautiful. 💕

So today, I want to say I’m gratful for my amazing team at @wilhelminalosangeles for having my back and believing in me. And to my clients for trusting me with their product/campaigns and for being so awesome! Success is a collaboration and we can’t do it without others. I love my job and I’m so lucky to have such a long career (almost 30 years!) 😎
