POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some stories you read once and never get out of your head. Claire Keegan's Antarctica was that for me.

It's the title story from her first collection. A married woman goes to the city for a weekend, curious to know what it would be like to be with another man. Thats all I’ll say. Keegan does more in a few pages than most novels manage: she makes you feel the cold coming before you can name it, and leaves you sitting with it long after the last line.

I couldn't shake it. So when I had the chance to turn it into a short fllm, I took it, and I've rarely been as nervous about getting something right.

Huge thanks to the cast, crew, and supporters that helped make it happen.

The film premiered at the @austinfilmfest and went on to play worldwide including @champselyseesfilmfest

The Climb ❤️

What a beautiful way to close out our time at the Tonkawa Film Festival ❤️

From the parade wagon rides and laughter… to the heartfelt moments of kindness and encouragement… this journey means everything. I salute each of you for your welcoming hospitality: James O, Lance M, Alisha L, Brad M, Cristy C, Kathy R and all the Unsung Heroes. Tonkawa Film Festival 5-Stars+

Winning Best Music Video for “America, I Can’t Breathe” was truly humbling, and the connections made along the way are what I will cherish most.

Special thanks to sweet Ms. Margie for your kindness, warmth, and beautiful spirit. Your encouragement touched my heart more than words can express. ❤️

And thanks to everyone who supported this project, believed in the message, and walked beside me on this journey.

“The Climb” continues…
