Today's the day! An incredible team of directors, writers, producers, designers, artists, editors, supervisors, managers, coordinators, assistants, IT, and I have delivered a BRAND NEW season of "King of the Hill," out NOW for your digital bingeing! Is that still a thing? It is today! Many of us have been working on this since 2023 (!), so it's surreal and nostalgia-inducing to see it finally out there in the world. As such, I'll share a few unsolicited words on my experience working on this singular show. To have the opportunity to work on something I grew up watching is a humbling privilege that doesn't happen often. I totally lucked out getting to be a small part of this warm-hearted and hilarious show and have learned from some of the best, smartest, kindest, and most attractive people in the industry, HR most of all. There have been many times in my 15+ years (!?) working in the entertainment industry where I was ready to call it quits, but landing on this show and working with these people gave me a little hope. TL; DR it may seem like a small and sad triumph, but it's cool to find out that not everyone in Hollywood is an asshole. I'm going to single out some people that prove it, starting with those at the top, who taught me a lot and presented no ego even though frankly they should have one by now. Thank you for your patience and sharing space in the sandbox you've created. @saladinpatterson @realmikejudge @pamelaadlon @anthonydelbroccolo @laurentom9000 @tai_leclaire @tyler.jeffrey.smith, just to name a few! They say don't meet your heroes, but whoever said that clearly has not met mine. My partner in crime Joe Vitelli; my colleague and mentor Aaron Diecker who showed me the ropes and broke the mold as a legend AND a good man; and our fearless post leaders, Eli Dollemann, Ryan Young, and Shaun Hamid who gave us the range to contribute to the show in a meaningful way. Thank you for your guidance and for bringing us into the fray. And lastly, my fuggin friends, who made the job fun and made me feel excited to come into work everyday. You're tagged in the photo 'cause I ran out of room!! Oh, btw I'm in episode 9 in the bg!
