I moved to San Diego with my partner about one year ago not knowing anyone here. My roots have always been in San Francisco, especially in communities of color, education, dancing, and climbing.

Over the past year, I faced the hardest rejections and challenges I’ve ever encountered. Despite it all, I came out of it a year later building the foundations of a dream with the most loving friends & family.

YAWNZ has always been more about a cup of coffee. It’s about reclaiming our time, especially that of which we can spend together. It’s about building critical connections. Spreading joy & spilling tea. It’s about selfishly bringing all those who I love together, to co-create spaces that make us feel celebrated, belonging, and abundant.

So thank you to everyone so far. Let’s continue to build 🧡

Walking through the lower cabana and honestly… it feels like your own private mini retreat tucked away in the most peaceful setting. This is where you come to slow down, breathe deeper, and just be.

You’ve got a sauna, a cold plunge, and an outdoor copper bathtub that is just unreal to relax in. There’s also a massage table available, and if you’re feeling it, you can even move it outside for the full open-air experience.

And yes… the guys are covered too. There’s a barber chair on-site and you can book a traveling barber to come to you — get shaved, cleaned up, beard trimmed, all of it. You can literally schedule your grooming when you book your stay. It’s a full experience.

What I love most is how versatile it is — you can rent the upper house, the lower house, or the entire property together. Perfect for multiple families, gatherings, or creating your own retreat weekend. And the upper cabana comes with a pool when you book the main house… it’s all just so beautifully done. It’s just minutes from the ocean!

If you’ve been craving a reset, a getaway, or a place to reconnect — this is it.
