A tunnel does not need to be dark and boring! Løvstakken Bicycle Tunnel, the world's longest purpose-built pedestrian and bicycle tunnel, is illuminated with great Color Kinetics lighting that is also energy-efficient. The fully controllable system displays colorful waves of light when a cyclist or pedestrian enters the tunnel at either end, alerting others to oncoming traffic.

See how stunning Color Kinetics lighting in Løvstakken Bicycle Tunnel engages users and provides visual relief. The design goals for the illumination of the tunnel were to have great lighting that is also energy-efficient. Color Kinetics luminaires were installed throughout the tunnel and above an art sculpture to create an amazing tunnel view.
