HIP HOP, YOU DID YOUR THING! 🔥🎤 BACK TO THE CITY, THANK YOU!

Big shout-out to Back to the City for putting together a dope festival and giving hip hop the platform it deserves! 🙌🏾

To the international legends Ab-Soul, Slum Village, Blu & Exile — salute! You reminded us why we fell in love with this culture in the first place. 🫡🔥

And to our South African hip hop artists, much respect! 🇿🇦 Hip hop is alive and well in these streets!

SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT TO THE FAM: 💯

Y’all brought the hip hop I’m used to! The bars, the energy, the authenticity, the culture, the substance that raw hip hop spirit 🎤🎶

Big shout-out to @losh_persie Too! You the Engine! 🫡 behind the scenes making things happen. We see the work, we appreciate the dedication, and we salute you for teaching us how artist management is.

And of course, SHOUT-OUT TO THE RAP LAB MOVEMENT! 🖤🤍

We’re still moving under the shadows, observing, documenting and building. And honestly? I like it that way. We don’t need to make the loudest noise in the room; the work will speak when the time is right. We’re building something real, one bar, one artist and one move at a time. Not a crew, a movement! 🧪🎤

We’re still growing, still learning and still finding our feet, but we’re here for the long run!

Respect to everyone who contributed to making this festival special. Hip hop is not dead sometimes you just need to be in the right place to hear its heartbeat! ❤️‍🔥
