REG-U // CURRENT EVENTS DIVISION

Most people believe history is written after it happens.

It isn’t.

History is written while you’re still arguing about it.

Every headline.
Every market swing.
Every ceasefire.
Every disaster.
Every celebration.
Every panic.

Entered.
Timestamped.
Archived.

The Registry does not decide what matters.

It records what humanity couldn’t stop watching.

Revised Reports - Volume 2

Second volume - For the unfamiliar it’s a simple concept:
There are artists I love. Those artists I love pick a track by Yours Truly they desire to reinterpret, then I leave them the fuck alone to do just that - Full creative control. I collect said reinterpretations together into an EP. That is what a volume of Revised Reports is.

I’m excited to report this second volume is also the first official Arcane Synthetic release via Mayfly Records led by my terrific friend, Eric Baker AKA Bärkər.

Give them all a round of applause and enjoy!

On the 17th of April it was the first anniversary of my second album.
I’ve been spread thinly lately and forgot to mention it on the day.
I want to show some love for it as a special one with phemonenal collaborative tracks helped come into fruition alongside the likes of @silentj.film from @skitch_hiker , @lostcauseindustry , @plainsdesperatesymphony , and @infektomorph .

I’m going to now try and set up a vinyl and CD sale so you’ll get a notification when that’s released today.

Have a good one,

Arcane

Previously available only on @bandcamp , my second album, A New Era & Nothing More: Part I will become available everywhere - @tidal , @soundcloud , all your regular streamers - in a month’s time - 27th of June!
As much as I appreciate engagement and support from any listener, I prefer it via Bandcamp. You can hear and support the album in question right now on my Bandcamp page: arcanesynthetic.bandcamp.com

Some thoughts and reviews A New Era & Nothing More: Part I has received since its Bandcamp release last month:

eitherdiver.com
“Wide-ranging experimental conceptual album that weaves together diverse threads including drone, spoken word, electro, industrial, ambient, and metal. What could be jarring shifts in tone and intensity are largely smoothed over by an overriding dark aesthetic and held together by the overarching concept, about a synthetic being researching humanity.
This is definitely an album you’ll enjoy more if you embrace the concept–read the liner notes, listen to the lyrics and spoken passages, etc. Not to say you can’t just let it all wash over you, but the full experience requires a degree of engagement. Give it what it asks, and you’ll find a great deal of interesting ideas and execution in service of its story.”

nadinedemacedo
“This work of art is a brilliant mix of dark synth music with audio book and a bit of experimental extravaganza.”

CJ Bury
“An excellent follow up to an excellent debut (Awaken The Androids). Much more abstract and very dark ambient with monologue about just about all in this dark world. Love it. Looking forward to Part II!”

bmurator
“Experimental Electronice / Avant-Garde / Punk / Ambient from New Zealand. Perhaps Spoken Word should also be included as there is a thread, which tells a story when you read the interesting lyrics, going through the entire album... :) This is Aracne Synthetic’s best album yet imho! There are too many influences to list & it is deliciously & very dark! Thanks Arcane Synthetic! Recommended!”
