From the very beginning, building El Sueño was about trying—not getting it perfect.

We cut wood on the floor, painted on the dining table, hammered between benches.
Every part of the land became a messy, joyful workshop.

And we made a lot of mistakes.
But every error taught us something.
We found solutions, grew more confident, and now—we’ve mastered skills we never imagined.

That’s the heart of El Sueño, and the heart of this new workshop :

Hi, I'm Flor If you're reading this, you probably already know El Sueño: a community home we've been lovingly building over the past two years, with the help of many beautiful volunteers.

It's more than just a place - it's a dream I've carried for years: to create a space where people from around the world can come together, connect, share, and grow.

The idea is simple a community space to explore our paths in life through creativity, learning, and collective experience.

El Sueño Is an open heaven a home where we live outside, where nature sets the rhythm.... a dream... as long as the sun is shining!

Rainy season and possibly hurricanes are just weeks away. In previous years, storms and heavy rains made it impossible to stay at El Sueño for weeks and even destroyed parts of what we had built.

So this year, we decided to prepare. We started building a storm-resistant shelter to protect our tools, materials, and offer a safe space to our community.

But... I've run out of funds and the shelter is only halfway finished. Without a roof, doors, and enclosed walls, everything we've worked for remains vulnerable.

So here I am-sharing something that's honestly not easy to say: I need help.
