The Haven 2024 🤎✨

I don’t even know where to begin… This trip was soul food.

We started in D.C. walking through our history, and ended in the quiet hills of Virginia pouring into each other like only sisters can. There was so much softness, laughter, release, and reflection, all wrapped in good wine, deep talks, and cozy moments that reminded us what real connection feels like.

No agenda. No pressure. Just space to be.
To cry if we needed to. To laugh from our belly.
To rest without guilt. To be held, seen, and reminded of who we are.

I’ll carry these women, these memories, and this peace with me for a long time.

A lil fish and red beans and rice!!! When I I cook certain things I am surrounded my parents, aunts and uncles. Y’all just don’t understand! The way my Uncle Clement and Auntie Ethel will make sure fish is put away for some frying. Just grateful for the upbringing. My godfather will make sure I fry him some! It’s the little things.
