it has been the most difficult and crushing thing losing my best friend & cat daughter Oliver. We said goodbye to her on 12/28, and I am still torn up. She made life so much better, and now she is gone. I hear her noises in the silence left by her absence, I feel her weight in my heart and in all of the beautiful memories we made together, but I still miss her so much. From the moment Rachael introduced me into their life, I was enamored with Oliver ~ she was perfect and goofy and personable and made everything better just by being around. I was so proud of her always just for being herself just the way she was. She was equally as proud of her mom Rachael, and I was just honored to be a part of the family. To Oliver in the digital SoulSpace — I am so grateful and proud that I was able to spend 11 of the 16+ years of your life with you as your dear old dad ~ i hope i made you proud. Hope it’s all John Candys there. tell Footie i love him and miss him and we are taking good care of his sister choux bun here. My flat face, sweet bb v, bulova, oleevee, my closet cat, i love you so much ❤️‍🩹

realizing i’ve never properly introduced myself on this account 👀 let’s give it a go! hi i’m rachael (they/she) and i started my pottery journey in september of 2019 when i took my first wheel-throwing class at @penguinfootpottery 🖤 i’ve learned a lot since then and also do quite a bit of hand-building these days! but the learning never stops which is why i love clay so much 💫 when i’m not working on ceramics, i’m either working full-time as a graphic designer, helping arm trans folks of color as the co-founder of @thornselfdefense, or playing drums with my band @thelipschitz (we’re about to release our first LP!) i also love being outside, especially by the beach, roller-skating, playing animal crossing, hanging with my kitty and my hedgehog, collaging, and succumbing to my virgo tendencies. nice 2 meet u!
