Just days ago, our community came together in an extraordinary way. More than a thousand people gathered in celebration, joy, self-expression, and connection, creating a moment that reminded us what is possible when people come together in the spirit of inclusion. As we begin Pride Month, we carry that energy forward. The same spirit that filled downtown Palm Springs this weekend is the spirit that powers #Pride: community, visibility, resilience, and joy. While Palm Springs is fortunate to be a place where LGBTQ+ people can gather openly and authentically, we recognize that this is not the reality everywhere. For many across the country and around the world, visibility, acceptance, and equality remain works in progress. This month, we celebrate. We remember. We advocate. We show up for one another. May the joy we experienced together this weekend inspire us to continue building a world where everyone belongs. Happy Pride Month!
