It’s said that your home is the greatest reflection of who you are. It’s your sanctuary and your safe space. My space is clean, organized, welcoming, zen and intentional. I’ve learned to manifest and wait for the items I want for my home, not to rush into getting everything in the moment. It’s a great feeling to go thrifting or shopping and find that item you envisioned in your head. You choose what you surround yourself with.

Reflecting back at the last 6 months I’m happy to share that our living room is complete. It’s exactly what I envisioned and more! Babe and I put in a lot of work to make this refresh possible. I’m currently working on the kitchen and other projects that I can’t wait to share over the next six months of the year.

Daniel picked out this Avalon sideboard from @lovebirdcollect, and we're both obsessed. The dining area looks so much bigger, and we now have a proper place to hide our booze. Plus, it forced us to go through everything stuffed away in the behemoth dresser we'd been using as a buffet for the last 10ish years. Win/win!

I can’t say it enough, but I’ll say it again. Thank you all so much for your support! I see your likes, comments, dm’s and it always reassures me that I’m doing what I am meant to be doing. Bold is more then just a business to me. It’s my creative expression, business school, social network, financial support, and a way for me to do what I love each and every day. But, as fun as it is, it’s also so very hard. What a lot of people outside the industry don’t see are the times we get a nice piece and it breaks during transport. The giant couches and credenzas we carefully balance down a narrow flight of stairs trying not to break our backs. The beveled vintage custom glass to that one console table that gets cracked in half right before you stage it. The cigarette smelled dressers you buy sight unseen, only to find out you can’t sell it any longer. The piece you buy and drive 80 miles for, and upon arrival it looks so torn up. The countless times things go wrong, and some days you just feel defeated and ask yourself “why didn’t I just go into the pillow business? My back though! BUT on the flip side is the magic. Those unicorn pieces we all dream of finding. Those pieces we live for. They give us that rush. The push to keep going and hunting. The hidden gems. The herman millers sitting dusty at a sale covered by a blanket, that everyone overlooked, and you just happen to move the blanket off to discover this hidden freakin’ gem. It’s that time you followed your gut, and went to that one store and found the most amazing art to sell. It’s those times, you remember why you do what you do. It’s the love of the hunt. The exhilaration you get when you score an amazing piece. That feeling…money just can’t buy. It’s knowing your hard work has paid off. And keeping your head up, even when you’ve had many failed days and many nights lying in a bath full of epsom salt. I love my business, and I love all of you for following me through this journey. And most of all, I freakin’ love vintage furniture 😝 Cheers to all my boss dealers! This post goes to you! Keep on keepin’ on and kicking ass!😎🙌🏻🛋
