Probably one of my favorite curated events to date!! A BEAUTIFUL evening celebrating the power of our stories during Women’s History Month curated, staffed and led by WOMEN (and of course a few supportive friends that held it down as well s/o to @veo.jpeg x @jordan) 💫 I’m such a girls’ girl, and it was so special to uplift all the women, mothers, sisters, daughters, and hear their stories of resiliency, joy, and triumph.

Huge S/O to the @oadproductions team for trusting @livmoremedia to bring this vision to life, and to every volunteer and incredible staff member who made it happen. 🙌

And of course, love to all the amazing women on the bill @keyatrammell @maralove2x @iiamanisa @loveborossi @dreanajohnson @robindannybob @nikkioffscript and our lovely vendors @thaxtonwhiteboutique @squeaks_cakeshop @sokindinside @gracefull.flowers thank you for gifting us with your presence and talent.

More nights like this one…captured by @imagerybychioma

🎨 Artist Spotlight 🌸

This Women’s History Month, we’re proud to celebrate women who are creating, preserving stories, and shaping culture through their art. Join us in welcoming our live artist for the evening.

April Clark, known artistically as April Clark Art, is a Chicago-based visual artist and educator whose work blends abstraction, portraiture, and nostalgic cultural influence through vibrant color and intentional line.

For over a decade, her work has explored art as a tool for healing, reflection, and transformation.

Today, that vision expands through Bo Rossi — The Vision Dealer, a creative practice offering immersive workshops and experiences that invite artists and communities to live boldly and create with intention.

It’s that time of year again where we take nominations for Black Chicago Public School Teachers who are making a notable impact within our community.

As a black founded organization, it is our pleasure to create more visibility within our community and the wonderful people that hold our communities together.

You can best support our initiative by nominating a current Black CPS Teacher who you admire!

Submissions close on January 31st.

(Brooke) “ I was speaking with @ms_kiwisboutique and we both get so hyped up about empowering and motivating women (pouring into women isn’t an easy task when you have ups and downs being an entrepreneur yourself)… I’m so glad I got a chance to partner up with @ms_kiwisboutique who had been an entrepreneur for 18 years now and she never get tired of doing this THANG (we might shred a few 😭) because I have always been willing to collaborate and connect with likeminded people. I never wanted to take this journey alone because I know you have to be really 💪🏿 to keep going everyday even though you don’t know the OUTCOME. I host different events not for us to be in a room just looking CUTE ( that too lol) but to exchange resources and build a community which is something near and dear to our 💜 ‘s so let’s do this together…Yes Women can come together and support one another without any ill intent if you can’t find them Change Your Circle!!!!
