We went for brunch and tried the Cacio e Pepe Fries, Negitoro + Kimchi Tuna Meltz and Strawberry French Toast, with the French toast being our favourite! ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿค A must-visit for creative brunch dishes and drinks! โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿต Dinner is available too, and reservations are recommended as it can get crowded. #wheretoeatsg #sgfoodie #sgeats #sgcafehopping #sg Hot White & Hot Matcha Latte โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿต I remember enjoying their coffee more than their matcha, but both are worth a try! CACIO E PEPE FRIES โ€” $18 Triple-fried seasoned fries, potato foam, cracked black pepper, Pecorino Romano & Parmesan, Greek honey The first bite caught us off guard as we werenโ€™t quite used to the combination of flavours, but it grew on us after a while! We ended up enjoying it more than we expected. The only thing to note is that it can get pretty jelat because of the generous amount of cheese, and it was quite oily too. ๐Ÿ˜… NEGITORO + KIMCHI TUNA MELTZ โ€” $29 Seasoned negitoro & ikura, kimchi, melted sharp cheddar Pretty much an elevated version of your usual tuna melt, which Iโ€™m absolutely not complaining about! ๐Ÿ˜‚ It was generously filled with toppings, and the overall flavour profile leaned towards the stronger side. Iโ€™d recommend sharing this if you have a smaller appetite, otherwise you might not have enough room to try the other dishes! ๐Ÿคญ STRAWBERRY FRENCH TOAST โ€” $25 Thick-cut brioche toast, strawberry butter, mixed berries compote OUR FAVOURITE out of the three dishes we tried!! ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿค Hands down the BEST French toast weโ€™ve had so far in Singapore, and weโ€™d definitely come back just for this. Everything came together so well, and we absolutely loved it!

๐Ÿ“Cloudfields (pt 2) ๐’๐’†๐’ˆ๐’Š๐’•๐’๐’“๐’ + ๐’Œ๐’Š๐’Ž๐’„๐’‰๐’Š ๐’•๐’–๐’๐’‚ ๐’Ž๐’†๐’๐’•๐’› ($29++) this is one of their most popular menu items at the cafe and it was HUGE omd. i suggest you share with at least one other person if you wna try many things in the menu cuz yea frm the pic u can tell that its pretty huge. there was raw negitoro on top which tasted v fishy but one of my friends liked it. im not a tuna person but since this is so popular i decided to order it and give it a shot. the potato wedges were yumm they were super hot and crispy, and salted just nice. not super duper oily too and i really loved the crisp. the bread was THICK and inside was stuffed with loads of cheese and some tuna (you can see the layer of tuna is pretty thin). the bread was a little dry and quite chewy, but fr this sandwich is so heavy itโ€™s like loaded u may get flavour fatigue. the kimchi was crunchy and pickle-ly ๐Ÿ˜‹ but i wont get this again ๐’…๐’–๐’„๐’Œ ๐’…๐’–๐’„๐’Œ ๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’ ($28++) mind blown mind blown ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฉ best main ?!?! imo it is. the duck confit literally SLID OFF THE BONE (sry for caps but i need the emphasis) anddd there was quite a lot of duck meat for 3 baos. talking about the baos which r fried lotus leaf buns, they were phenomenalll so solid and golden brown, the bread itself was warm, slightly sweet and soft :D IT PAIRED SO WELL w the duck and there was also some sauce (sarawak pineapple hoisin) which was rich and umami and made the duck even more flavourful. the duck meat was super tender and the fats were very soft ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿคค PLS GET THIS if u visit ๐’”๐’•๐’“๐’‚๐’˜๐’ƒ๐’†๐’“๐’“๐’š ๐’‡๐’“๐’†๐’๐’„๐’‰ ๐’•๐’๐’‚๐’”๐’• ($25++) BRO ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR MEAL โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ i think all of our pupils dilated when we ate this then we were giving eo looks like wow is this really as gd as we taste it to be. IT WAS SCRUMPTIOUS cuz the brioche toast was THICK but SO MOIST and soaked with a warm custardy egg mixture i think like it was oozing ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿคค on top of the toast was strawberry butter and mixed berries compote which complemented the toast sooo well, the compote was generous and v authentic it did not taste like any flavouring or artificial jam it was actual fresh berries and it was pretty solid in terms of texture too

๐Ÿ“Cloudfields (pt 1) glad i finally got to visit this place w my friends right aft camp :0 we splurged but it was worth it :D THIS IS ONLY PT 1 btw i have too much content to squeeze in one post so look out for pt 2!! โ˜๏ธ ๐’”๐’Œ๐’š ๐’Ž๐’†๐’‚๐’…๐’๐’˜๐’” ($9++) this is a matcha drink w blue spirulina milk and topped w yuzu cheese foam. my friend let me try and i liked it cuz the cheese foam on top was creamy and thick, and i like how the savoury and sweet combi along w the sour notes frm the yuzu worked well together. matcha taste did come out quite a bit but its not super strong thereโ€™s also a milky taste. it is a pretty small cup tho so u can easily finish it v fast bfr u even know the drink will be gone ๐ŸŸ ๐’„๐’‚๐’”๐’Š๐’ ๐’† ๐’‘๐’†๐’‘๐’† ๐’‡๐’“๐’Š๐’†๐’” ($18++) apparently these are double fried ๐Ÿคฏ no wonder it was one of the most crispy fries iโ€™ve ever had. they were fried until a beautiful golden brown colour and the portion was GENEROUS it was good for 6 of us and we still didnโ€™t finish it until the v end of our meal. the parmesan cheese on top was so savoury and the addition of the greek honey elevated the taste of the fries even more. iโ€™ve nvr tasted fries like these bfr and it was SO YUMMY lowk addictive ๐Ÿ˜ญ the fries are all pretty thick too yet still retaining a crisp exterior and a soft interior ๐Ÿฅ” ๐’„๐’‰๐’†๐’†๐’Œ๐’š ๐’‘๐’๐’•๐’‚๐’•๐’๐’†๐’” ๐’ƒ๐’†๐’๐’๐’š ($26++) okay i would say skip this cuz for the price the portion was small and flavours werenโ€™t particularly outstanding too. this dish consisted of a few slices of roasted pork jowl which i thought was pleasant in terms of texture because the meat was soft and juicy but in terms of flavour it wasnโ€™t particularly mind-blowing. like considering the price u pay i think dtf the pork chop may be more worth yknow. the potato pave was v cripsy and light but nth special. having this w granny smith apple sauce was pretty interesting too cuz its sweet but the meat is savoury and the poached eggs were v runny, good pairing w the rest of the components of the dish #sgfood #sgfoodie #foodie #food #cafe
