.
‘Threads of the Movement’ is the fifth installment of PRXJT BLXCK. This AFRO-PHOTOJOURNALISM photoshoot highlights young Black clothing designers and the passion behind their art. By featuring designers wearing their own work alongside models, the shoot captures the duality, complexity, and deeper meaning within each garment.
Through close-up, detail-oriented shots, the project showcases the precision, creativity, and intention behind each piece while exploring themes of faith, civil rights, political struggle, cultural identity, breaking generational cycles, and freedom of expression through clothing.
