Some shows you watch… and some shows become a part of you. ❤️

If you grew up watching A Different World, you already know. From Whitley, Dwayne, Denise, Kim, Freddie and the whole crew, this show gave us more than entertainment. It showed us Black excellence, college life, friendship, sisterhood, networking, finding yourself and dreaming bigger.

And honestly? It was one of the reasons I wanted to go to college and become a member of a Greek sorority. It made that world feel possible.

So when I watched the new A Different World series on @Netflix, I smiled through all 10 episodes. It brought back SO many memories and gave me that same feeling all over again.

And getting to experience the event hosted by the City of Atlanta & @scenebysatchel made it even more special.

If you grew up watching A Different World… GO WATCH IT.
