After months of working on it, I’ve finally finished my personal Jazz Project, The Jazz Field Guide 🙏🏽

I’ve always been a huge fan of jazz, and I wanted to make something tangible out of that love. I spent a lot of time researching the artists featured throughout the project and creating a space where people can explore the music and hopefully discover something new.

Jazz is a huge cultural staple and one of the many Black American art forms that deserves to be preserved and recognized. This website is my personal contribution to that preservation, while also sharing a little bit of my own relationship with jazz. I hope you enjoy exploring the artist selections, book recommendations based on albums, and the little anecdotes I’ve included throughout. 🤎

A very special thank you Lisha @lovef1less, who helped curate the website and turned all of my research into something beautiful. I’m so grateful that she helped bring this project to life in a way that feels like me. If you visit and want to talk about anything you find, please reach out. I’d love to hear your thoughts
