Being part of the first-ever physical @genzhappyhour reinforced something I strongly believe: leadership conversations only matter when they move beyond slogans into substance.

Sharing the stage with the spectacular @blessing_ini_o was refreshing. Her insights were rich, balanced, and grounded in both lived experience and contemporary realities.

The session was expertly guided by the insightful @sarah_oiza, whose questions were timely, intentional, and probing, creating room for honest and meaningful dialogue.

Credit to @purposedriveglobal for organizing and holding space for conversations that challenge Gen Z to think deeper about growth, discipline, and direction.

Special appreciation to the creative @loveglies Tejiri Akpede (Tej) for capturing these moments so intentionally. These visuals made reflection possible beyond the room.

Personally, the conversation stretched me. We unpacked what it truly means to move beyond survival mode in today’s economy, questioned “new year, new me” beyond clichés, and explored what real networking and success should look like for Gen Z in the age of social media.

This wasn’t just an event.
It was a leadership reset.

Your association matters a whole lot.

I'll keep hammering this because I've experienced the power of quality association.

Look at your life now, the people you constantly associate with reflects in your actions.

Check it.

The Bible teaches this. If you associate with wise people you'll be wise. If you associate with fools, oh well you know what you'll be right.

If you associate with wealthy people, you'll be wealthy.

Choose your association wisely this year.

Well, you have to first know exactly what you want to even choose your association.

Know what you want or get anything you see.

PS I'm grateful for these people in my life. God blessed me with them.

I wrote a book. This is my gift to everyone. Link in bio . . .

One of those words I'm fond of saying is: “You are Gold.” It's my way of saying you're valuable. So I decided to make it the title of this book.

“I make lines fall in places for you”, there is no mistake in that statement; what I mean by 'places' is that wherever you find yourself, there will always be a line for you. That's what this book is about—LINES.

You call it poems, but I don't—at least the ones I write—I call them lines. I am obsessed about lines from books, movies or anywhere. I don't see myself as a poet, yet, so I created a genre—a world, a safe space—for myself.

These lines are original, they are drawn from the simple reason of existing—God, friends, family, life, nature, books, songs, love interests and YOU.

In a way to justify my laziness, I even think Bill Gates will be proud of me, I was intentional about not categorising the lines into a setting. I thought it will be nice and different if it's scattered. Scattered, in the sense that from one page you're saying, “aww” to the next page you're left thinking, or wishing, or feel the invisible connection that makes you relate. I am interested in juggling your emotions.
I hope you see gold within these lines, but more importantly I hope you realize that You're Gold!

PS Starting this project, I thought it would be easy; I have many of the lines written down already and all I had to do was to put them in a book. But it didn't happen that way. Instead, I discovered more lines. And even though I said it was scattered, there was a form of structure and intentionality to it.

And oh, I started this project in the night, when the sky was intensely dark blue and all I could see was one visible star winking at me.
