POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

One of the things people are always surprised to learn about our husband and wife photography team… I’m actually better with the guys, and Matt is better with the girls. 🤍

After 21 years of marriage, we’ve learned how to make each other feel confident, comfortable, and seen- and we bring that skill to wedding days!

I know how to talk to guys, help them relax, and bring out their confidence. Matt has that same gift with bridesmaids, making them feel beautiful and completely themselves!

Because, just like marriage, great photos aren’t just about knowing how to pose someone. They’re about knowing how to communicate.

One of the biggest mistakes a photographer can make is saying, “That doesn’t look good.” Even though they may only mean a pose or an angle, a bride or groom can easily translate that into, “I don’t look good.” And that little moment of insecurity can follow them every time the camera points at them the rest of the day.

We know how to redirect without discouraging, encourage without forcing, and bring out the very best in the people in front of our cameras!

That’s the magic of a husband and wife team- two perspectives, two personalities, and a shared goal: making sure both the bride and groom feel confident, celebrated, and completely themselves!

A moment for the stationary and details! 😍 Flat lays are an art, but it helps to have lots of amazing pieces to work with. I love showing up at a wedding and seeing the unique pieces of couples’ story that got them to their wedding and what they choose to bring into their flat lays. I always try to do a more formal flat lays with a good representation of their items and then some closer looks into that. If there’s time and the inspiration, I also enjoy taking creative approaches too or using unique features of the room or from the couple’s collection. Some images are cropped here for Instagram, but the full versions I’m posting on Facebook today.

I'm absolutely obsessed with how these florals are styled.

The way they spill from the vintage bike, paired with the soft blue cake, makes every detail feel effortless. These are the little touches that turn a wedding day into something unforgettable.

Can we just talk about how totally normal it is to feel nervous in front of the camera? Bridal portraits are such a special part of your day, and the secret to actually enjoying them? Trusting the person behind the lens.

Here’s how to make it a little easier on yourself:

- Get to know your photographer! I’m here to chat anytime and walk you through everything.
- Peek at full wedding galleries so you can see the style and imagine yourself in it.
- Trust your instincts. Your gut knows what feels right, and that ease shows in your portraits.

And don’t forget: you’re not doing this alone! I’ll be with you every step, guiding you, cheering you on, and making sure your portraits feel as relaxed and joyful as you are 🤍

You’re not getting married for the photos.
You’re getting married because you found your person — the one who feels like home.

As an editorial and documentary wedding photographer based in Florida, our approach is simple: document the day as it truly unfolds. Not overly posed. Not performed. Just honest, refined, intentional storytelling.

The way your hands naturally reach for each other.

The quiet tears before the ceremony.

The laughter you didn’t see coming.

Those are the moments that become heirlooms.

If you’re planning a wedding in Florida (or anywhere your love takes you) and want timeless, documentary-style imagery that feels effortless and true — we’d be honored to tell your story.

Because the most beautiful photographs aren’t staged.

They’re lived.
