"Abiding in Christ does not remove the burdens of life, but through His grace they are made lighter, and our hearts are strengthened by the comfort and peace He promises."
~ Ulisses Soares

🎉 It's the last day of #homeschoolshares curriculum picks week!! Today is all about Morning Baskets! 🎉

🥰 So we actually don't really have a morning basket but we do start our morning out in scripture study with @loveprayteach @redheadedhostess I love having help digging into the Old Testament! LovePrayTeach always has the funnest hands on activities to bring the scriptures alive!! RedHeadededHostess has curated YT videos and the best discussion questions to apply it to our lives!! And @brookeromneywrites helps us practice our good manners!!

🤦‍♀️ I accidentally added our book studies to our ELA day forgetting I was supposed to share it today so here's another peek at them!! We'll be using a combo of @bravewriterofficial and @beyondthepage_curriculum for our monthly individual reads!!! Then as a family we'll use @brave.little.learners @rosiecolemannn and @asenseof_home for our read alouds!! I've also added a couple movie studies for funsies this year!!!

📅 I'm working on helping my oldest 2 become more responsible for their learning by helping me schedule and plan each week!!! I love my @schoolnest planner!! I use cute stickers and glittery pens to keep it whimsical and magic!!!

💕 I hope y'all enjoyed all the curriculum picks we shared this week!!! Let me know what was your favorite!!!

❓️ What's in your morning basket?

Because of Him, you and I will feel joy again.

Just like the women in the scriptures.

Hard times are guaranteed, but so is Christ's power to comfort and heal.

“You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book.”
~ Dr. Seuss

🧺 Happy #homeschoolcurriculumfavs Morning Basket day!!! 🧺

🌄 Our morning basket consists of our scripture study, book study, and music study!! We keep it pretty simple but fun!!!

✝️ For our scripture study this year in Come Follow Me we're learning about the Old Testament! We're using a combination of @redheadedhostess study books for each of us (she has a graphic novel version for littles, a teen version, and an adult one!), @loveprayteach lessons, and @oneminutescripturestudy book! The kids take turns preparing the LovePrayTeach lessons - 2 kids per week and I teach the other days!!! I love seeing what they're pulling from their own scripture study!!

📚 For our book studies we using @brave.little.learners and @rosiecolemannn adorable book studies for Harry Potter and Zeus the Mighty!! HIGHLY recommend these ladies!!! I got the new ensemble Audible for HP with a full cast narrating and we're LOVING it!!

📖 We're also slowly going through @bravewriterofficial novel studies!! I love how they're set up by ages but all my kids enjoy whatever books they pick!!! Fantastic book choices!!!

🎵 And we're so excited to start Amelia's Music Makers and Orchestra unit studies!!! These are so well thought out and put together!!!

❓️ What's a must have in your morning basket?

🌅 Easter week starts TODAY and I want to tell your family about something special for FREE.

This beautiful coloring poster from @loveprayteach (loveprayteach.com) that has He Is Risen right in the center, surrounded by scenes from the last week of Jesus’ life.

Palm Sunday. The Last Supper. The cross. The empty tomb.

All of it on one page your kids can COLOR throughout the week or on Easter morning. 🐣✏️

We printed ours already and honestly? It’s one of the coolest ways I’ve seen to help kids UNDERSTAND what Holy Week is actually about, not just eggs and candy.

The link to grab your FREE printout is in my bio. Zero catch. Just grab it, print it, and let the kids go to work.

Tag a parent who needs this today.

We’ve had amazing podcast guests this month!
Each of them has blessed us with their gifts and talents to helped us learn more about the Lord’s words:
.
77 And I give unto you a commandment that you shall teach one another the doctrine of the kingdom.
.
78 Teach ye diligently and my grace shall attend you, that you may be instructed more perfectly in theory, in principle, in doctrine, in the law of the gospel, in all things that pertain unto the kingdom of God,
(Doctrine and Covenants 88:77-78)
.
Gospel teaching was never meant to be done alone or in your own strength.
.
When you teach one another the doctrine of the kingdom, grace shows up.
.
Clarity increases. Confidence grows. Conversion deepens.
.
You don’t have to be perfect to teach powerfully.
You just have to teach diligently—and let the Lord do what only He can do.
