This wedding was special to me…

Becky & Sandro’s Wedding 🕊️ // Shot on Super 8mm film 🎞️

When Becky and Sandro first reached out with the idea of recording their vows for their Super 8 film, I was instantly excited - and honestly, a little nervous. I told them I’d never done anything quite like it before, but their confidence in me was so genuine and contagious that by the time we talked everything through, I knew we could make something beautiful together.

On the big day, we did a quick test interview to check the mics before they walked out, and what I didn’t expect was that this tiny moment would become one of my favorite sound bites of the entire day. The excitement you can hear, the warmth in the room, their personalities shining through - when I finally wove it all into their film, that little test clip had me in tears.

Feelings from a single day can fade with time, but my hope is always that media can keep them alive just a little longer.
