What if, “Am I in the mood?” Isn’t actually the most helpful question?
Because sexuality doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens in a body, a nervous system, a sensory environment, a brain with preferences, capacity, communication needs, and approx. 69 other tabs open.

SO @lovesexautism and I are back with a different type of check-in 💕
One that makes room for sensory needs. Stimming. Predictability. Direct communication. Familiarity. Novelty. Regulation. Pleasure. And the possibility that what you actually want might look nothing like what you’ve been told sexuality is supposed to look like.
Your erotic self doesn’t need to perform “normal”.
It needs room to be yours.

Swipe through, check in with yourself, and save the last slide for the next time you want to ask:
✨What might feel good, interesting, regulating, playful, erotic, comforting, curious, or delightful to me today?
That’s Sexual Whimsy 🌿✨

Made with @lovesexautism - because autism and sexuality fit together quite beautifully when we stop trying to fit them inside a box.
Cheers to curiosity, pleasure, and whimsy. ✨🌿💕

Autistic adults do have sex. And apparently we still need to say that out loud. Autistic people are so often infantilised that sexuality and intimacy can almost disappear from conversations about autistic adulthood.

But sensory differences don’t disappear in intimate relationships. Neither does masking. Neither does communication. Neither does the need to feel safe, understood and accepted.

I sat down with intimacy specialist Candice Christiansen, @lovesexautism, for the adult conversation about autism, sex and relationships that we should be able to have.

No shame. No infantilising. Full conversation on YouTube, link in bio.

Our Adaptive Kajukenbo program is built for both verbal and non-verbal students of all abilities.

We use structure, repetition, and positive reinforcement to help every student succeed in their own way.

Verbal students grow through communication, leadership, and teamwork.
Non-verbal students thrive through visual instruction, movement, and guided repetition—no words needed, just understanding and support.

Every class builds confidence, focus, discipline, and emotional control in a safe, welcoming environment.

Every student belongs on the mat. Every student can grow.

WE HAVE CRACKED THE CODE🚨‼️

We tried some golden our last appointment, but decided to get rid of it and brighten her up. The subtle curtain bangs are the cherry on top🍒

#lovesexandautism @lovesexautism I just finished the book love and autism and resonate so much with so many pieces of every single person’s Story! And it made me so glad that I’m not alone, so I am also going to share my story so others don’t feel alone, because it is important as a community that we learn from each other and grow with each other not against. It’s only taken me 43yrs to start learning who I am! And I am f***ing amazing! #audhd #autismawareness

Sex has always been weird for me. I thought for the longest time it was become of having endometriosis but it was weird for me even as a very young teen. Took a dr in my late 30s to tell me to get a toy. Because that was the first time I expressed out loud that my body didn’t work for me. People can say what they want about this being a trend or whatever they want but today I know for sure! And it’s kinda wonderful to feel normal.
