WELL, first time flash painting in a long time and it ended up pretty messy. But that’s okay, an imperfect flash sheet is still better than no flash. It’ll go better next time.

These designs are available to be tattooed, and I may post more designs soon! 🕸️🕷️ also peep my painting assistant.

A peaceful forest under the night sky. 🌙🌲
This nature-inspired piece took 3 sessions to complete, and my client sat like a champ through it all! I’m so stoked with how it turned out, especially seeing how nicely everything healed!
I had so much fun bringing this nighttime forest to life.
Thank you again, Matt, for your trust and for letting me create this special piece for you!

27 feels like a big number, and somehow I feel like I’m only beginning. 💌✨

I celebrated my birthday on the 18th, and this year I actually celebrated. Not a checklist of where I fell short, but the human I am right now.

Swipe for a peek inside my birthday weekend, plus where I am in life: the grief that came with learning to love past versions of me, the masks I’m setting down, and the dream I’m still building.

For so much of my adult life, birthdays felt like a checklist of ways I hadn’t measured up. I could only see where I’d let myself down, and I’d shame myself into a puddle.

This year, I wanted to see what it meant to celebrate my life and how far I’ve come. Or, in a softer sense, just celebrate the human I am right now.

That felt hard. There was grief in recognizing how harshly I’ve treated past versions of myself and how much strength it took for them to get me here.

I’m somewhere between an old way of being and a new one that hasn’t fully settled yet, but I can feel it.

Self-expression is something I deeply value. This weekend, I got to feel like myself after a long time of feeling the need to perform.

Perfectionism has protected the fuck out of me in so many ways. I can feel that fight softening as I practice giving myself permission to be messy, to feel, and to not know everything under the sun. That part of me still carries her sword and shield. I’m learning to meet her with compassion.

I’ve tucked so much of myself into a box. I became good at hiding to avoid rejection or being misunderstood. I realized I was the loud voice telling myself no before anyone possibly could.

This year, I’ve noticed how many masks I’ve worn in my life and my business. I’m learning to set them down as I get more honest about who I am and what I want.

And this shit isn’t easy - to be in the thick of it and keep choosing. But I’m learning that I am worth honoring, seeing, and getting to know. I am brave.

I feel powerful with a shaved head because it reminds me I don’t have to hide. I missed this piercing because it’s an adornment I feel beautiful with. I smile because I am finally starting to see myself the way Spirit sees me. 🧚🏾

This year, I’m learning to be
