Day 51 of 100 🎾👑 @fitsquaddxb @lovethepadel

Today we meet Alexander Parr from Fit Squad DXB.

Ex-professional basketballer turned full-time padel addict, fitness coach and online mentor, Alexander is a Newcastle lad making the move to Dubai, and he didn’t wait long to get stuck in. He jumped straight into one of our Love The Padel tournaments at a seriously tough level… and loved every minute of it anyway.

That’s the padel bug right there. 🦠🎾

He talks to us about how the addiction started, what took him from the basketball court to the padel court, and why he just can’t get enough.

Welcome to Dubai, Alexander, and welcome to the community! 🙌

51 down, 49 to go. 💪

Day 50 of 100 – HALFWAY! 🎾👑 @big_rg @lovethepadel

What better way to hit the halfway mark than with one of my oldest friends, the legend that is Ricci Gee.

Business mogul, entrepreneur, family man, and all-round great human, Ricci sits down to talk about his padel journey: how he got into the game, what padel has brought into his life beyond the court, and how he plugs into the Love The Padel community whenever he’s in Dubai.

Proof that padel isn’t just a sport, it’s the people it brings together. 🙌

50 down, 50 to go. Let’s keep going! 💪

Day 48/100 🎾👑 @diegodasneves @originfit.ae @lovethepadel

Off the injury bed and back out creating content, and what a way to return.

Today we visited the incredible Origin Fitness padel studio hub at Cityland Mall, Dubai, and caught up with local padel legend Diego, who now runs all things padel at Origin.

Diego gave us the full tour, and this place is MEGA:
🏋️ World-class gym
🚴 Studios for cycling, boxing, reformer Pilates, yoga and more
🧖 Huge changing rooms with sauna, infrared sauna and steam rooms

But the main event: 4 padel courts under an 18-metre-high ceiling. We’ve never seen anything like it in Dubai. This is going to be something special.

If you haven’t been yet, get yourself down to Origin. You won’t regret it.

Thank you, Diego 🙌

Injury update 🦵 Huge thanks to @regenmed.bio for the support getting this knee back on track. It’s been a quiet few days off the padel court while I’ve been laid up recovering, but I’m up and about and heading out filming today. Day 48 incoming 🎬

Big things coming from @lovethepadel 🎾 New padel tournaments, club nights, DJs, boat parties… event news very, very soon 👀

And welcome to PK Eats 🍽️ Volume one hit 10,000 views yesterday. Unbelievable, thank you all for the support 🙏

The PK Eats ethos is all about sharing the love. I come and try your food and give you an honest review (if it’s bad, I’ll tell you 😅), then we run a competition so one of our followers wins a visit to try it too. Great food, great people, real connections. Want me to come review your place? Drop me a DM 📩

Day 47 of 100 🎾 @lovethepadel @ashglover19

Today we’re at the Emirates Dubai Sevens Youth Sports Festival, and the energy is something else. 🔥

I caught up with Ash Glover, one of our Love The Padel Premier League players, who’s here wearing a different hat today. Ash is a teacher, and he’s brought his young talent along to compete. 👏

We talked about:
🏫 The future of padel through the school system, and why getting kids playing early matters
🏉 What the festival offers the next generation of cricket, netball, rugby and, of course, padel players
❤️ How much padel and the Love The Padel community have changed Ash’s life
🏆 How he’s finding life in the Premier League

Seeing kids pick up a racket and fall in love with the game is exactly what this is all about. The future of padel in Dubai is in safe hands. 🙌

Huge respect to Ash and every teacher giving young players this opportunity. 💛

Day 47 done. 53 to go. See you tomorrow. 👊

Day 46/100 🎾🔥 @lofthouse7 @strikepadeluk @lovethepadel

Back at Strike Padel Bradford today and got to meet Matty Lofthouse, head coach of this unbelievable facility. 🙌

12 courts, Halo lighting, Mondo turf… this is genuinely a first-class padel club, right here in Yorkshire. 👏

Had a great high-level game with Matty and the lads, then sat down to hear his thoughts on where padel in the UK is heading. Spoiler: the future looks very bright. 🇬📈

Massive thanks to Matty and everyone at Strike for the warm welcome. If you’re anywhere near Bradford, get yourself down there. You won’t regret it.

54 days to go… 👑

Day 45 of 100 🎾 @fountain1987 @lovethepadel @strikepadeluk

Today we’re back home in Yorkshire to meet a proper legend, Chris Fountain! Actor, Dancing on Ice champion, top DJ, musician… and most importantly, one of my oldest mates. 20 years of friendship and counting 🙌

Turns out he’s a fellow padel addict too. Chris gives us the lowdown on his local club, Strike Padel in Bradford, before we jump on court with Matty Lofthouse and Adam for a cracking game. Great level, great padel, and even better to catch up with an old friend.

Padel really does bring people together, wherever you are in the world 🌍

Day 44/100 🎾👑 @padelkingdom.uae @lovethepadel

Today we’re learning from the best. Coach Gerry from Padel Kingdom breaks down the perfect volley: how to set your legs in the right position, keep your backswing short and controlled, and kill the ball off the glass. 💥

Gerry also takes us through the Pathway 2 Padel sessions at Padel Kingdom, the perfect starting point for all you beginners out there. If you’ve been thinking about picking up a racket, this is your sign. 🙌

And he shares what Love The Padel brings to the Dubai padel community. Big love, Gerry! ❤️
