Brooklyn is changing, and I want to document what’s being lost, what’s being protected, and what still belongs to us.

This summer, I’m shooting a documentary about Black homeownership in Brooklyn, legacy, joy, cultural preservation, and displacement.

I’m looking to speak with longtime Brooklyn residents, Black homeowners, families, elders, community members, and anyone with a story about what it means to hold onto home in a city that keeps shifting.

Have you watched your block change? Has your family owned property in Brooklyn? Are you fighting to preserve a home, a legacy, or a piece of culture?

I want to hear from you.

DM me if you’d like to be featured or share this with someone in Brooklyn who should be part of this story.

Being a woman means being strong even on the hardest days. It means continuing to push forward even when the world feels heavy. Today is a reminder that we should lift each other up, support one another, and lead by example for the next generation.

Honoring the women who came before us and the incredible women around us today. And lifting up my daughter so she always knows she is powerful, brave, and capable of anything.

Here’s to strong women!!! May we know them, may we raise them, may we be them. 💜✨

Happy International Women’s Day.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day — and all the many hats women wear every single day. 💜

Mother. Friend. Dreamer. Creator. Support system. Professional. Caregiver. Leader.

Some days we’re juggling it all, other days we’re simply doing our best… but every role we carry tells a story of strength, love, and resilience.

I’m grateful to be surrounded by incredible women who inspire me, support me, and remind me that we’re stronger together.

Here’s to celebrating the women who lift others up, chase their dreams, and show up with heart — even when life gets busy.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the amazing women out there. Keep shining. ✨

🌱 Day 83 of 1,000 | 1000 Days Campaign

Today, we’re honoring Rodriguez Family.

The first 1,000 days are about more than birth they’re about support, stability, and community. It’s about ensuring parents and families are not just celebrated at the beginning, but supported every step of the way.

We provided lactation support and such much more. When families come through our doors they leave with a plan of action and pleasurable experiences. Healthcare should make you feel seen and heard.

💛 83 days down. 907 to go.

Moms can run on love, coffee, and snacks in the purse (we are resilient) but to THRIVE (?) Real sleep, nutrition, and community changes everything. Not just for us, but for our entire household. When one person is struggling to rest or regulate, everyone feels it. When mama thrives, the whole family rises.

That is why last week’s Mindful Motherhood Brunch with @boironusa at the Ivy Room inside the Royalton Park Avenue Hotel felt so special. It was a space where moms could breathe, ask honest questions, and be reminded that none of us are doing this alone.

I loved sitting beside my dear friend @dr_gluzman who shared so much wisdom about gut health and how to support our kiddos from the inside out.

And I loved learning from @keriglassman about nutrition support and the positive mindset we can model for our kids. How we talk about food becomes how they learn to trust their bodies, enjoy eating, and feel confident around food for life.

Boiron invited me to speak about maternal sleep and family sleep. It is a topic we do not talk about enough. Our culture fixates on baby sleep, but baby is never separate from the sleep of the people caring for them.

I talked about creating a family forward sleep culture in the home. Realistic routines. Responsive caregiving. Protecting rest for the grownups. And a little humor for the nights when we end up sleeping in places we never expected. Sleep is not a solo project. It is a village effort.

Thank you @jamiehess for hosting such a thoughtful morning and bringing together a room of incredible women. And thank you @boironusa for supporting families in ways that genuinely matter.

Grateful I got to learn, share, and be part of this community.

🤍
