I talked with @tjrogers about what to post for the latest Rules of Skateboarding.

Also worth noting the triumphant return of day-one Rules artist, @cosmestudio!

It’s finally here! Join us for the launch of PLANK Issue 2: Dance this Thursday at 7pm at @laamericana_olc in Mexico City. Drinks, mags, and 200 pages of skating and dance.

In this issue, we go tap dancing with Spike Jonze and Björk, play Dance Dance Revolution with @charlieengman, embed ourselves in the audience with @leemarymanning, crush on the punks and the ballet dancers who love them with @gertsofficial, and visit a psychic with @haunted.website and @alaxawast to see who breaks an ankle first.

From timing and tempo to the right way to die on stage, we talk all things skate, dance, and movement. Featuring contributions from @low___impact @andymac720 @denyags @cnkerr @priceyhot @bradcromer @changsu_____ @petersutherland Yvonne Rainer @floweroid @underthekneez @ztato Charles Atlas @efrondanzig @tommy_6a6u_babu @sun__pix @mmunzenrider @jokamundo @ebecho @stolen.item @peafranks @kevinspankylong Max Palmer @ed.templeton @caswellberry @_brianreid @gabkebab_ @_pedrodelfino66 @ronniekessner @kidadams @badjimmy @norathenorwal @sarahmeurle @kaygeezeee @chriscolbourn @4twofive @aidancampbell @helenalegslong @johncardiel

Say “show me your clips” to a room full of people and the ones most eager to share will be skateboarders and writers. That depravity must be recognized.

It’s time for the fourth annual SSOTYs (Skateboarding Stories of the Year), an incomplete collection of 2025’s best skateboarding-related writing, and an effort to catalogue and celebrate those writers and their clips.

Thank you to @scorpiondagger for the fantastic and animated Wordy trophies. If you’re on this list, you’re SSOTY [s-suh-oh-tee]. Congratulations. DM me and I will mail you a print of a Wordy of your choice (seriously).

Link in bio. Happy reading.
