The Relic of Eshu — originally inspired by @jimmy_j_bower guitar Relic of God ✝️
To avoid any misunderstanding: my Les Paul is named Abby, after the 1974 Blaxploitation horror film Abby, starring William Marshall and actress Carol Speed in the title role 🙂‍↕️🙌 In the film, Pastor William Marshall battles the demon Eshu — but in truth, Eshu is not a devil. He represents duality ☯️ and communication 💬: in the Yoruba tradition, Eshu is the Lord of the Crossroads, a messenger, a trickster, and the guardian of language and transition.

Absolutely stacked bass pedalboard from @lowendfuzzonaut! Check out how they have this set up:

“Bridge Pickup is fed through everything, Neck Pickup only sees the compressor.

Both join at the volume pedal, and the EQ2 sums them back together or runs them to a bass&guitar amp for maximum sonic destruction.

The tuner is the MVP here, as it could split a mono signal and with that, every bass could be used for this board. Also, the buffer in the tuner is CRUCIAL to maintain clarity in the distorted/modulated signal.” 🤯
