That choosing FAMU would lead to a career in marketing, an agency of her own, and eventually a calling for wellness that only God could have curated.

Eight years after graduating, I’m returning to @famusjgc82 as a homecoming panelist to discuss what it means to own your voice and chart your own trajectory.

Left NABJ inspired (again)! Initially there to work with a very special bookstore client, but ended up with so much more than I expected. Swipe to read my memories 👉🏽

My agency (@lowkeycomms) has been working with a beautiful Black owned bookstore in Atlanta for the past 2 years now, (@lovevillagebooks). We handle all of their social media content and given that this year they were the official booksellers of NABJ’s Author Showcase, we had to be there 🎥

Got to hang out & celebrate my very FIRST mentor in college! He just graduated with his doctorate in business and I couldn’t be more proud (AND INSPIRED).

Ran into one of my favs!! Every year I remind her how I rocked her son to sleep while she attended a meeting. I was in college then and her son is now 10 🥲

Laughed and laughed and laughed some more with my sistas 🫂 almost 10 years since we graduated. So much has changed for the better. I love witnessing all of our evolutions ✨

Jschool’s sweetheart 🫂🫶🏽 we got to chat about her lovely career in Raleigh. So proud of you!

Georgia in the houseee 🗣️ love her authenticity and her embodiment. You can feel when you’re around her.

These two are some of the hardest working women in TV! So happy I bumped into them 👑🫶🏽

Terrance 🫂🥲 Director of WANM 90.5 “The Flava Station”. He gave me my first shot at radio and now I can put the mic down 🎤🔥 grateful for him.

We heard one of our previous clients moved to a new office space and we had to surprise them ☺️📲

We worked with @vitallifechiro for 2 years, helping them upgrade their social media content with pure “edu-tainment” which drive more foot traffic and help spread the word.

Since then, Dr. Bolar & his team not only upgraded into a bigger office, but they’ve also expanded their services.

So now on top of chiropractic care, patients can get massages and assisted stretching all in one place 🙌🏽

Still floating from @lenayascrawford 1st Annual Holistic Therapist Conference @thelola_women! The energy? Beautiful. The community? So intentional. The love y’all showed my food? Next level.

The Holistic Therapist Conference poured into me as much as I poured into them. I showed up with food made from the heart...jackfruit, lasagna, quinoa grits, cakes and all the little touches...and y’all made it feel like home!
Hearing the love, the joy, the “this is vegan?!” reactions all STRONGend…whew! That’s the fuel. That’s why I do what I do.

✨ From Ziploc bags to grocery store dreams ✨

I’m literally crying tears right now. To think about how far we’ve come—from sealing orders in Ziplocs, to vacuum sealing, to my first run of packaging, and now holding this professional bag with nutrition labels, cooking directions, storage tips, and even a founder’s note… it’s almost too much to process.

Y’all have been with me through everything. From losing my page, to rebuilding, to now having over 100,000 people in this community cheering me on. Through a holistic marketing framework rooted in strategy, storytelling, and soul, attendees explored what it means to market a healing practice without losing themselves in the process.

Holistic marketing is a revolution. Especially for Black women in wellness.
