My sweet boy, we are so incredibly proud of you. 🥰
This past year, you stood tall on your own as a college freshman—focused, determined, and resilient. We know things didn’t always go as planned, but you never wavered. Through every challenge, you showed strength and perseverance.

Always remember: your brother, your dad, and I will forever be your biggest cheerleaders. I don’t know why our journey comes with so many obstacles, but what I do know is this—you are amazing. And I’m beyond grateful to be your mom.

Today, we celebrate your academic accomplishment: Spring 2025 Dean’s List.
Keep shining, son. The best is yet to come. @blake_bartney @cbartney @lowraybartney

Happy Birthday to my sister, @tikitachrie!
Words truly can’t express what you mean to me and the Bartney family. Your friendship has stood the test of time, and through every high and low, you’ve been a constant source of love, strength, and wisdom. You’ve walked with us through so many seasons of life, and your support has never wavered.

From the laughter we’ve shared to the prayers you’ve whispered on our behalf, you’ve poured so much into those around you—and today, we celebrate YOU.

It is my heartfelt prayer that this day you are surrounded by the same love and joy that you’ve given so freely to others. You deserve nothing less. May this year bring you peace, blessings, and everything your heart desires.

Love you always and forever.

Happy Birthday
We love you so much

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” — Proverbs 16:3

For as long as I can remember, the desire of my heart has been to do whatever pleases the Lord. Through the journey of life—the mountaintops and especially the valleys—there have been moments where I’ve questioned: Have I truly committed everything to Him?

Yet, even in those questions, I hold firm to the truth of Psalm 37:23: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” I’ve always strived to live out Titus 1:15a, “To the pure, all things are pure…”—to maintain a heart that’s clean before Him, even when everything around me feels like it’s falling apart.

This past year has been one of the most challenging my family has faced. Yes, there have been incredible highs—but oh God, the lows. The kind that shake your foundation and whisper doubts in the dark. The kind that make you wonder, Lord, what did we do wrong?

But here’s what I’m learning: the enemy isn’t after our comfort—he’s after our faith. And even when it’s hard, even when I feel like I’m barely holding on, I choose to believe God’s version of my story—not the version others may create, and not even the one my fears try to write.

God has authored the Bartneys’ story from the beginning, and He will be faithful to see it through to the end. So as I reflect this Good Friday, I declare: As for me and my house, we will continue—wholeheartedly, relentlessly—to commit to the Lord whatever we do. And we will wait and watch as He unfolds the success of our plans.

To anyone struggling: fight for your faith. Fight to believe. You’re not alone—I’m fighting with you and for you.

Many thought we were and some may still think we are crazy, while others stood by our side as two young souls—just 16 and 19—decided to embark on a journey together. At 20 and 23, we took the leap into marriage, not knowing exactly what we were doing, but confident that as long as we were together, that was all that mattered.

Over the years, we’ve called two states and four cities home, but my favorite place will always be wherever you are. We’ve weathered valleys and cherished mountaintop moments, creating a lifetime of memories along the way. God blessed us with the privilege of parenting two incredible sons, Christian and Blake Lowray Bartney, and despite the challenges we’ve faced—especially in this past year, which has felt like an endless battle—His love and grace continue to cover us.

Lowray Bartney, I love you beyond words. Thank you for being my best friend, my protector, and my greatest blessing. You love me so tenderly, and I am forever grateful to walk this journey by your side.

Here’s to 30 years of love, faith, and unwavering covenant - and to a lifetime more. @lowraybartney @blake_bartney @cbartney #protectorsofthecovenant #covenantkeepers #twoshallbecomeone #30yearsofmarriage

Everyone, I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS😭🥹!!! In about 2-3 weeks my baby boy will be going to live in Leland, NC where he will attend Brunswick Community College to play basketball on the next level. He will be majoring in Exercise Science (Sports Medicine) as well as working on getting his Real Estate license. Thanks so much to family and friends who have blessed him this far. Some of you all reached out about furniture, etc because he will be living in an apartment 🤦🏽‍♀️, Lawd help me, lol. I will be contacting you as we begin his relocation for school. Many have asked what could they do, here is his wishlist https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2REE7XL423PXC?ref_=wl_share

Long Post: This has been such a trying yet impactful past couple of weeks. April 6th was @lowraybartney and I 29th anniversary. We had a great evening that was planned but we never got to enjoy it because Lowray was not feeling well. From that he went to the ER to get checked out which lead to a series of appointments of which included him having to see an oncologist, have a biopsy done and a MRI all in two weeks. I felt as if my world had entered the twilight zone. I could not breathe with the thought of what was put before us. My headspace was not good, I couldn't focus and my emotions, uncontrollable. But, I must say inspite of it all, to hear our children, @blake_bartney and @cbartney speak in faith to stand on God's word that God is our healer. What can I say about, @lowraybartney, the priest of our home; his faith never wavered, not that he wasn't concerned but how he leaned into the Word of God and began to allow it to flow from his mouth. He would speak in faith to his situation and continues to maintain his jovial disposition. I have always loved to hear him minister the gospel but through this I am even the more full because I hear and see that is faith is strong to believe that God will not leave us nor forsake us. God's love for the Bartney family is evident. Through this trial, Lowray has taken it as an opportunity to be a testament for Jesus Christ telling everyone that will listen that we are standing in faith, believing in God no matter what. The Bartney family refuses to let satan steal our faith, we choose to believe God. This prostate cancer diagnosis is not the end but as he follows the treatment plan of his doctor and stand in faith, we will overcome this as well. Many have called and texted and we appreciate you all. Forgive us if we have not responded, I have been trying to navigate it all. We feel your love ❤️ #cancersucks #webelieveGod #powerfamily #wehavefaithtobelieve
