Pull up a barstool Friday, Oct. 16, 6-9pm for Sip with Schnip at @poativywild. Matthew Schniper from @sidedishschniper is stepping behind the bar alongside Jacob Pfund, owner of Rebel Rebel and former P.O. bartender, for a special evening of cocktails and a little friendly guest-bartending mischief. We’ll also have a special menu of cocktail + dessert pairings featuring sweet treats from @yellowbrickbakeshop.

Then come back Saturday morning for Sip with Schnip: Part 2 at @bluebirdbreakfastativywild, from 8-10am. Matthew will be back to sip P.O. coffee and taste the new yummy offerings at Bluebird Breakfast. Joining him will be Eric Nicol, owner of Loyal Coffee and OG manager/bartender of the Principal’s Office when it opened in 2013. Eric will give a special coffee tasting class between 8:30-9:30am. Plus, indulge in a special build-your-own mimosa and bloody mary bar.

Love What I Do ❤️

I met Christina back in 2023 when she first joined our 1:1 coaching program @strengtheraacademy

We realized we were both from SoCal, and shortly after she joined, we had the opportunity to meet face to face while we were back visiting family.

She eventually graduated from the program, but we kept in touch over the years.

Fast forward to a few months ago…

We reconnected, she had some new goals she wanted to accomplish, and she decided to jump right back into coaching.

And she’s been crushing it ever since 💪🏼

Well as luck would have it, she was traveling for a workout conference that happened to be right down the street from where we live.

She reached out and asked if we could grab coffee.

I’ll NEVER pass up an opportunity to see one of our clients in person and I sure as heck won’t pass up a good cup of Colombian joe either😛☕️ 🇨🇴

This morning we met up, shared some laughs, and caught up on life.

And moments like these remind me why I love what I do.

One of the beautiful things about what my wife and I have built with @strengtheraacademy is that we’re not limited by geography.

We coach women all across the country and even have a few clients internationally.

But just because our coaching is online doesn’t mean the relationships have to feel distant or transactional.

I believe the relationship is one of the most important parts of coaching.

Because great coaching isn’t just about handing someone a workout program, telling them what to eat, and hoping they follow through.

It’s about getting to know the PERSON behind the goals.

Understanding their struggles, listening when life gets hard, educating them so they understand the WHY behind what they’re doing.

Helping them develop the confidence, habits, and skills to eventually sustain their results without needing someone to hold their hand forever.

Because the goal of coaching shouldn’t be to make someone dependent on you.

It should be to give them the tools to succeed on their own.

And that’s something I take a lot of pride in.

So to my fellow coaches…

Don’t forget the power of connection.

It’s National Frappe Day! 🧋☕

Because sometimes coffee isn't enough… you need coffee that looks like dessert.

Blended, creamy, topped with whipped cream, and loaded with flavor — today is a pretty good excuse to treat yourself to a frappe from your favorite local coffee shop.

Go ahead. Get the fancy coffee. You deserve it.

When asking the universe for a sign, ask for something that is not too common, but also not so impossible that you may never see it.

Then wait for up to 72 hours for it to appear. It can appear in any form. Just let go and trust that it will appear. Just like my hot air balloon appeared when I least expected it.

No matter what you’re asking the sign to be a confirmation of, the underlying message will always bring you the feeling of being known, seen, heard, and loved. Because you are. 🫶🏼

that’s my ember to remember today. ✨

A little coffee from @loyalcoffee , a lot of big conversations, and the people who make TRU what it is.

We talked about what we’re proud of, what we’ve accomplished, and where we’re going next. Our CFO walked us through the numbers and what it will take to hit our targets, our Marketing Manager shared updates and ideas, and our CEO brought it all together with the bigger picture.

There were serious moments, plenty of laughs, big goals, and even a special little guest because Mazey brought her precious baby along. 🥹🤍

These meetings are a reminder that growth doesn’t happen alone. It happens when a team gets in a room, gets honest, celebrates the wins, tackles the challenges, and keeps moving forward together.

Now we’re ready to conquer what’s next. ✨
